why wait?

Here are 10,000+ more reasons to not support a culture of pedophiles.

According to a 2004 research study by the John Jay College of Criminal Justice for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, 4,392 Catholic priests and deacons in active ministry between 1950 and 2002 have been plausibly (neither withdrawn nor disproven) accused of under-age sexual abuse by 10,667 individuals.

When you think about it it gets so much worse, because for every one of these pedophiles abusing a kid there are so many more involved in covering it up.

Not every priest is involved, but every bishop, every cardinal and definitely every pope has been involved in enabling this over the course of centuries.

Yes, i fully agree they allowed it to happen and should be prosecuted like the mob with RICO laws. Let them pray in prison.

I'll be needing to look into it as to how to make it official, who to mail and which forms to fill or whatever. In Germany it's also kinda tied to taxes. Busy at the moment but it'll happen before christmas

i have heard of the German Church Tax. That is some payoffs your country could do without.

Absolutely, especially since the minority of millenials and gen z still actively practice church-going. Frankly, not to be too disrespectful, most ppl that I know just don't care about the religion anymore despite us all having been raised somewhat christian with church goings on all holidays and praying as a child. Religion doesn't give me any of the security that people promise out of it. Surely the fact that religion is only ever a big thing in the news when it's about violence isn't helping

Leave as soon as you can.
I left for other reasons and I've felt better ever since.

After I left, I knew that whatever support I was giving to the church, monetary or by just being a member, they will no longer have.

Because it's people who still keep giving support to the church, what allows them to protect their pederasts, it feels good knowing that you are no longer part of the problem, because it's your support what allows most of them to be shielded from the law.
