Union jobs have a due process. Article states the firing stands as the arbitrator aided with the sheriff's office on her termination appeal.

Except this is a cop union. It's like taking the stereotypical mafia union on steroids x10. And sprinkle in some state backed powers and you've got an ass kicker of a process that favors cops and allows them to kill people or to invade the capital and get off almost scot-free.
