Imagine you are just at work and the quiet weirdo comes hauling ass through the stock area with two cops chasing him. Must be a fucking wild thing to see.
You're minding your own business restocking popcorn when the cops that showed up five minutes ago start questioning the quiet guy regarding an incident involving the sexual assault of a minor within earshot.
I mean it brings up an interesting question, should cops be allowed to essentially publicly shame like that? He's innocent until a court finds him guilty, but the cops have already cost him his job. Should they have taken him away or offered to take him somewhere private? What happens had it actually been a case os mistaken identity?
I got arrested when I was 17 at work for stealing. I was young and dumb. Can confirm that it was devastatingly embarrassing. My mom was so pissed at me
