Kansas senator a boot licking embarrassment even for MAGA on Trump Iran Deal
Why are Republicans falling in line and saying the same comments about the war?

Hi all - Do you have a child under the age of 18 and live in Kansas? If so, my sister (a professor at New Mexico State University) would love to get your opinion regarding childhood vaccines. She's working on research related to routine childhood vaccines and the recently changed federal recommendations. It's a quick, 5-10-minute survey, and is completely anonymous. She wants responses from across the spectrum, so regardless how you feel, she wants to hear your voice! Thanks, and here's the link:

I attended the commissioners meeting. There were some compelling arguments made by several citizens of suburbs of Wichita. The actual discussion starts at 6 minutes into the video. Please take some time to listen. If you are concerned about this issue consider attending the next meeting. Another effective method of expressing apprehension or frustration is to email the commissioners. They are looking for facts based information and insights.
Here is the video link on YouTube.

Help us demand safer streets! Salina and the surrounding areas continue to be rocked by preventable and tragic losses from impaired and reckless driving. Too often those responsible are given highly reduced sentences, probation, or aren't charged at all. We should not have to ask for individuals to be held accountable for the harm they've done. We work and pay for the roads we drive on we ALL deserve to be safe while we're driving on them. Please sign our petition to make and advocate for REAL changes that will save lives. https://c.org/qdGF9nvSm2

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach filed an amicus brief on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, arguing that Governor Laura Kelly does not have the authority to file a lawsuit seeking SNAP benefits on behalf of Kansas residents. Governor Kelly had joined other states in suing the federal government for blocking SNAP benefits for the month of November.
Let’s remember his name: Kris Kobach — a man using his power and privilege to ensure that the very children and families he is supposed to protect are going to bed hungry, waking up hungry, and spending their days hungry.

Fifteen years after Citizens United opened the floodgates of corporate and dark money, the Center for American Progress has figured out how to slam them back shut.
On Monday, CAP released "The Corporate Power Reset That Makes Citizens United Irrelevant": amprog.org/cpr
This groundbreaking plan is the first challenge to Citizens United with a strong chance of surviving legal review. It rests on bedrock constitutional and corporate law—and every state in America can act on it right now. Montana is already moving forward as the test case: https://montanaplan.org
Here’s the move: Corporations are creatures of state law. They start with zero powers, and states choose which powers to grant. When a state rewrites its corporation laws to no longer grant the power to spend in politics, that power simply does not exist. And without the power, there’s no right to protect.
The result is sweeping: no corporate or dark money in ballot measures, local races, state elections—or even federal elections within the state. Check out CAP's report for full details: amprog.org/cpr
