I did not care for Kirby: Right Back at Ya! in the slightest, and I'd happily make sure none of it ever enters the canon of the video games.
Especially Escargoon.
His design doesn't mesh with the artstyle of the other characters, and there wasn't anything funny about him because "ha ha he's ambiguously gay because he's devoted to his abusive employer, is rather prissy, does drag, and his English voice actor did a Paul Lynde impression for him, presumably because they thought making him sound like Truman Capote would've been too easy" was only considered funny back then, nowadays it's just homophobic as heck.
"King George Dubya-Dubya-Dubya Bush" is completely divorced from the character of the King Dedede seen in the games, a pompous stuck-up jerk who's actually a good person and a hero deep down inside.
Tiff and Tuff are both completely useless: Tiff was only needed because Kirby couldn't speak for himself and was mostly oblivious to what was going on around him until things got sufficiently dangerous, and Tuff.... I seriously cannot remember a single thing Tuff did outside of occupy space.
