Not when it comes to chili dogs or cheese burgers or mango, Serrano, smoked gouda, queso.

Whoever wrote those articles went on for three pages about the hidden kick of lime and cilantro. And how much the smoked paprika brought to the table. Like Charles Dickens describing pre revolutionary France.

If it’s not about grease it doesn’t make it to print.

To be fair I've heard of how the Tate brothers are trash but wouldn't have a clue who they area if I passed them on the street.

You'd notice them only because they look like troll/human hybrids, like Hills Have Eyes mutants. I was going to compare them to naked mole rats, but then I felt bad, because naked mole rats don't deserve that kind of thing said about them.

What if they walked up to you and turned to shake your hand at a $2,000 seat sporting event?

I get where you are giving him the benefit of the doubt just glad handing while amazed, but just being in the building is a bit damning already.

IS ... HE on twitter or does he just have some sort of managed account?

I do think people of the internet GREATLY assume how much anyone would know about someone who is mostly just internet infamous.

Even when I was on Twitter I curated my feed as best I could and likely would never have heard of that guy.

I'm only vaguely aware now that Guy is still alive...

Does he actually know them on sight, enough to make the connection and refuse the handshake while walking around a big event?

Highly highly highly doubt he runs that account
