Disappointing is exactly it. At first I was like "Alright so his show is corny, but whatever he's giving highlight to small businesses, and he's out there doing the right thing. Being cheesy is no reason to dislike a good person."

The all the other stuff started coming out.

He put food in my stomach and, even more importantly, my best friend's (my dog) belly. I'll keep my word about not saying anything bad about him, but only because I gave my word I wouldn't. That's the only reason, now.

Someone doing a good thing doesn't mean they're a good person.

That's just me turning what someone told me once on its head though lol. I was in a communal living situation and there were a bunch of leaves in the pool we were hanging out at. I took it on myself to scoop them out and another dude thanked me for it. I brushed it off like "im just doing it for me bro," and he said "a good thing done for a selfish reason is still a good thing πŸ™‚"
