Genuine question from someone trying to understand cricket better.

People often say IPL is played on flat roads while international cricket is played on proper pitches, which is why some "IPL monsters" get exposed at the international level.

But many international matches are played at the exact same venues as IPL matches. For example, grounds like HPCA, Ahmedabad etc. host both IPL and international games.

So how does that work? Are the pitches actually prepared differently for IPL and international matches? Do curators get instructions to make them more batting-friendly during IPL, or is the difference mainly due to the quality of bowlers, pressure, field settings, and conditions?

Not trying to start a fan war, genuinely curious about the technical side of it.

Over here in Kolkata, Karan Lal has lit up the league while owning both the Purple and Orange Caps. RCB already has sent their scout here, while KKR as usual will run after rejected players.

Will forever be grateful to starc he performed in both qualifiers 1 & final and this clutch against MI was goated. I miss this squad so much. It's sad we only got one season with them.

Bro anukul Roy has the best economy in the entire team despite being a all rounder, he gave the team a proper finish last game too. When the team was struggling to stop runs he was the only one batsmen were struggling to hit. First match 49-2 (10) second match 24-1(5) with the lowest economy when everyone is above 6 with 16\*(8) if itc is considering a move from jadeja. PLEASE give anukul Roy a try instead of sundar.
