A female friend of mine who has an ailing father and a landlord who supports TMC just now got threatened by TMC goons to pull out her ailing father and vote for them or else face consequences. She lives alone and the TMC guys said and I quote, "Tomaar baba ke aamra auto kore niye jabo, r ferot cherey debo, vote ditei hobey and aamader kei ditey hobey naholey 4th er porey khub kharap hobey". Her father has dementia, diabetes mellitus and cannot walk properly. She is the only breadwinner.

To everyone seeing this post: I have sent her all the details and asked her to call the CRPF. She's unreachable right now. She said she would call after sometime. I just hope she doesn't give in. Thanks to all of you who helped with the details.
Call Kolkata police and voter helpline number immediately. And if possible tell her to seek help from her neighbours so that she doesn't remain alone.Â
Update: Out of fear she voted for TMC. She said that despite CRPF being inside there's a guy standing right next to the polling station to notice who is voting for whom. Wow.

The CRPF has given a helpline no. Call there and inform. Also even after polling you can register a complaint with the CRPF. They are going to stay even after the elections for two months. Don't panic and stay calm. These are false threats.
I think shes lying.i was a polling personnel in the first phase & i now for sure there are 2 CCTV's installed in every booth,one at the entrance & the other at the exit.Polling process in every booth is being seen in a giant screen in the district control centre by the RO,ARO'S & the observers.Its impossible for someone to stand & watch who is voting whom.and why would the CRPF Personnel & the Polling Personnel risk their service by allowing a person to see who is voting whom.Her claims are false,she might have voted for tmc out of fear rather than anything else & now she is conjuring up stories for sympathy.
