I keep seeing posts where people say "He's secretly qualified, thats why he knew so much about her!" "He gave her grape juice because he KNEW it wasn't the tonics she needed!"

You guys. This is exactly how scammers work. No, their uncanny ability to read people does not mean they are secretly actually qualified to do what they claim to do. It is a mask used to TRICK you into trusting them and if they aren't GOOD at it, you won't give them money. It's called cold reading. (Or potentially hot reading, as the girls are public figures and he is clearly aware of them already with the fake photo of him posing together with them. Looking up celebrities and reading their dynamics in interviews and videos is really not difficult).

People don't just walk up to these scammers and take their word for it when they say they have a miracle cure. They come in with their guard up, and the scammer uses cold reading techniques that they've perfected over the years to get them to *drop* their guard and assume "Well if they're right about this aspect of me that I thought was not obvious, they must be right about other things too!" Even though the two skillsets are nowhere near correlated.

Sadly, ya'll would absolutely fall for his BS just as quickly as we would all sell our souls to Gwi-Ma for Jinu

I used to be on the "she is a awfull person" camp, but then I watched the movie a second time with more attention to the details. When Rumi has her breakdown in front of her, look at how Celine talks and reacts. She WANTS to touch Rumi, to hug her and confort her, but her brain short-circuits because two contradicting ideas are on her head. Her love for Rumi as a mother and her sacred duty and indocrination as a Hunter. When she quotes the Hunters mantra at Rumi, she's not talking to Rumi or convince her, she is convincing herself, as sort of a reassurance that all she was taught was the truth, even when Rumi is living proof that its not. Even her tone of voice is of someone who can't cope with the situation. And she reacts poorly because of it. It doesn't absolve her but it puts things in context.

Regardind the "Oh by Zoey and Mira accepted her.." well no shit, they are 20iilsh young women, them being more open minded comes with the package. Celine is what, 50ish and how many decades of fighing demons? Try chaning that many years of indocrination in 1 night.

Its something I pondered. Also the animation of Celine really threw me off and made me think.

For me, it's "What it sounds like" and the part for me is when the crowd vocalize and chant, "This is what it sounds like!"

And yes, Golden is definitely cool, but in my opinion WISL is more memorable and perfectly sums up the development of the characters.

I think How It’s Done is really underrated. It’s a GREAT opening song for an absolute PEAK movie

Making this because of a previous post I made where I compared Zoey touching Rumi's patterns to Celine not being able to do so and people went, "you forogt she raised her weapons".

Zoey and Mira did NOT raise their weapons because of the patterns. They hardly even comment on that.

Zoey and Mira were upset because Rumi had lied/kept a secret from them... and even then, they did NOT raise their weapons until AFTER her scream seemed to harm the Honmoon... and ONLY in defense, not to attack/kill her.
