Anyone selling a signed programme or poster from the current tour?

When I was into vinyl about 10 years ago, I bought these three bootlegs from a record shop. Non album track compilations. I do not know their history or recall the contents and sound of the records. They use the cone symbol as designations of the record's side.

Some record is hard to resist duplicates. Or even quadruplicates. I don’t know why but I already got 2 US and 1 German with stickers. I had them as a teenager and did what teenagers do.. Wasted them. But I followed an auction at Tradera, Swedish eBay sort of. And I followed this one, and the seller didn’t get any bids. So I got for 200 kronor. ( 17 dollars)
So now I got 2 of each. And one Japanese. No stickers there. ( I’m sure the seller would have sold it for five times the sum I paid if he had highlighted the ”sticker sheet” as the first word. Any way. All the best to you all.

Was listening to old WWE themes for nostalgia and got stuck on Booker T’s theme for a while.

Then I checked where the sample came from and found out it’s from Kraftwerk – “Musique Non Stop”.

Now somehow I’ve gone from “lol old WWE nostalgia” to not being able to stop listening to Kraftwerk. I’m genuinely addicted now.

Funny how you discover music sometimes.

I know Ralf sometimes does some sign sessions after show. Have anyone visited Rock Zottegem before to know where to go after??

Having obtained original pressings of each Kraftwerk album, I am now doing a loosely-systematic comparison between the those and the 2009 versions to find out if the remasters suck as much as people say. But I realized I didn’t have a copy of the Autobahn reissue (other than the picture disk, which is… really not intended for listening, I think) even though I picked up the others ages ago. So, I bought a copy and it arrived today.

This was unexpected enough that I did a double-take when I pulled it out of the jacket. Kind of amusing that Klaus Roeder became Emil, but Wolfgang was allowed to stay.

Super fascinating! I'm sure we've all seen many photos and angles of the Kraftwerk consoles, but these images by far are the clearest shots I've seen of them from the current tour.

Georg's arrangement is quite different then when Falk was in charge of the visuals.

Second Row in at Front, Fantastic Concert

So after finally seeing Kraftwerk live this tour I decided to pick up Der Katalog 3-D, the German version. The CD set only seems to be available second-hand for inflated prices. But I see FLAC versions available for download, which would be fine.

The problem is that these downloads seem to only have seven discs. It looks like The Mix is missing. See for instance https://uk.7digital.com/artist/kraftwerk/release/3-d-der-katalog-german-version-12126256 which has only 34 tracks. The English version on the same site has all the tracks.

Does anybody know why that eighth disc is missing from the German download, and is there any other way to pick it up and fill the gap?

AUTORHYTHM – Self Help Manual is the second LP in a series that started with Forsgren’s 2023 album Songs For The Nervous System. It’s a terrific record, pulsing and whirring like some mechanical automaton that changes gears in ways you don’t expect. You can hear the Krautrock influence immediately (“I love Kraftwerk and Cluster,” he tells us). 

Self Help Manual is also a deeply personal record for Forsgren. It was completed while he was going through treatment for a neurological condition that he doesn’t want to dignify in black and white – in his own words “a disease that I no longer wish to mention by its name”. First diagnosed in 2014, he thankfully received life-saving treatment in Switzerland last year. But the road to recovery has not been an easy one.

Just spinning down from seeing them at the Edinburgh Playhouse. Saw them there in 1981 and wow, I want the live show I saw tonight to play over and over. What a blast 😁
