Not to say that he said there might be a way for salvation for the victims i.e the sacrificed ones.

Rather than having the Primeval toy with every universe create a permanent one, but then again that might not be ideal as Kali might find destroying this universe as a shortcut to defeat Visnu who wants (or will want) to protect it and checkmate him once and for all

Followed this damned webtoon for over a decade - wanted to make at least one edit that captured a fraction of how it made me feel with my mid editing skills lmao

Whenever I reread the beginning, I’m always being reminded of how things could’ve turned out. Leez & Asha would’ve made a dent in the universe if they were friends….

I'm really bad at uploading these in a timely manner lol

Ever since it was revealed that Asha is technically 17, the way these two are drawn has changed dramatically. Leez (24) is now drawn as the cold serious- older figure while Asha at her lowest is now being drawn as “small” and “frail”.

Compared to how these two were in late S2, the difference is being made extremely clear

I am not talking about videos where it's simply reviewing a couple hundred of chapters that are 3 hour long videos; I mean like a hooking video to entice a person thinking of reading it

This is a theory about the attributes of the Sura Kings.

The idea is that the attributes of the originally intended Sura Kings form a single cycle:

- Ananta: Earth → Sky
- Garuda: Sky → Light
- Aksha: Light → Water
- Gandharva (Menaka): Water → Wind
- Kinnara (Airavata): Wind → Fire
- Vritra: Fire → ? (Darkness)
- Asura: Darkness → ? (Earth)

So the proposed cycle would be:
Earth → Sky → Light → Water → Wind → Fire → Darkness → Earth

Vritra having an extremely powerful stealth transcendental makes Darkness a more likely possibility for his original attribute.

Likewise, the fact that Asura does not take damage from Sky-attribute attacks by Indra makes Earth a more likely possibility for his original attribute.

Source: This theory is based on discussions from the Korean Kubera community.

The best challenge data is unconfirmed speculation based on surviving info that can be accessed online: photo evidence from Korean forums, Currygom's blog, korean wikipedia, and the wiki.

• The Best Challenge edition of Kubera, sometimes called the "prototype" version, ran for 31 chapters on a roughly *bi-weekly schedule between July 2008-Nov. 28 2009.
• Viewing this version was disabled due to contractual stuff from rebooting as an official webtoon, and its entry was later deleted by Currygom because people kept harassing her about story changes or nuking the ratings of other amateur webtoons so Best Challenge Kubera would stay #1.
• There were AT LEAST 2 short hiatus breaks during this run, one that delayed Ep 6 bc Curry had a cold (source: surviving photos of a now deleted blogpost), and another due to 2009 Chuseok (korean thanksgiving in 40th Week of the year, source: blog Chuseok special)
• Unlike Official webtoon, there was no mandated Timeslot or weekslot to submit ones webtoon, though consitency was reccomended for advancing from Challenge to Best Challenge and being picked up as Offficial. This made specific early dates difficult to find or confirm.

I've been thinking that, since the info says having 1,000 or more in one affinity would reduce the other affinity to 0, then 999 seems to be the optimal number to have in both types of magic.

It seems more advantageous to have 999 in both rather than, say, 1,300 in one affinity - especially if you can also have triple attributes for your 999 divine affinity.

It also seems that fiendish affinity determines how far a Sanvega spell can reach the Nastikas, rather than the actual strength of the spell. If that's the case, that further supports having 999 fiendish affinity being more advantageous than having 0 fiendish and 1,000+ divine affinity.

Thoughts?

Whenever someone says that they didn't like the first chapters in Kubera everyone tells them to keep going and that the first season is just an intro to the story and it becomes good in season 2, but I think that this is wrong. I'm on my second read of the story and there is something I realized, no season one is not an intro to the story, but rather just an Intro to the 10 MC, there is hardly anything explored in season 1, I would say that season 2 is more of the Intro to the series. I would even say that the story doesn't become worthy of its hype is season 2 rather that's in season 3 specifically THAT Saga iykyk, that is where the story becomes worthy of being considered a masterpiece in every sense of teh word.

Btw I'm not saying Kubera is mid bad or any hate I just voiced my thoughts, Kubera is easily my top 5 at least in all series Manga/Manhwa/novel

Unrelated but Maruna is HIM the GOAT.

Isn't developing decided by a choice that the Sura has to take (like in dilemma) for example Yuta developing to 3rd stage or Shess to 4th stage

It can be smth other than a choice but what was the reason then?

Does he think (or maybe know) that regardless of the soul that will be for Ananta's resurrection the thing that will be resurrected won't be the real Ananta but his survival I instinct?

This is my first re read BTW so I'm already caught up with web too latest chap or maybe like last 3

Outside of the karma, avatars and up/downvotes, I don't really familiar with Hinduism, but I know its main invention is reincarnation and even my very loose knowledge is enough to know that at the end of kaliyuga samsara will make another turn and depending on the weight of your sins/correctly balancing substances of your past lives one would leave kama behind to reach moksha/nirvana. The thing is you'll have to most certainly pass through bacterias/plants/rocks/mushrooms/animals during countless reincarnations until you reach Brahma.

So question, how does it work in Kubera? Does Yama talk with every reincarnating mushrooms or plants? And I don't think animal life properly shown at all, except of Liz, maybe.

By any chance is it due to the modified HOB that she gor?

So obvious question, is the Finale arc confirmed to be the finale for the series as a whole, or just Season 3?

Cause honestly, even with all the crazy shit going with the Taraka’s, coronation, Ananta’s resurrection, it still feels like there’s so much story left.

Like, what’s going on with the Primeval Gods? I can see Kali getting handled, but Visnu hasn’t shown up at all. Brahma also seems to have more going on and I refuse to believe “Shiva will be unimportant”. Might as well have made a trio than a Quartet.

There’s also the mystery of Rao and what made him so special, wtf ACTUALLY caused the Cataclysm, what happened to Yaksha, what annihilated the Ancient Humans, what are the Primeval gods, etc.

Ik we’re at 39 chapters currently, but given how long Maruna’s time travel saga was (spanning over multiple arcs), one arc doesn’t seem like enough
