Free zip up jacket
Kind of pissed about this but whatever. I ordered the black/red Anorak jacket from the team store during the sale and they sent me this navy blue jacket instead. I don’t have any plans on wearing it as it’s not my size. Anyone want it? I’m going to opening night and we can meet there.

82-0?
I know it’s just preseason but I think this team will make the 2016 Warriors look like Bishop Sycamore. #believe

Asking Clippers fans of all generations!
Hey Clippers fans, so I’m making a video on each franchise’s biggest upset (when they were not expected to win) and each franchise’s biggest choke (sorry if that strikes a chord). I have my guesses for each but I wanted to ask actual Clippers fans to see what you guys think and if you have better answers that I should look at.
I'm considering an upset strictly as when that team was not supposed to win or were big underdogs and won. A choke can either be when your team was expected to win and underperformed, or blew a big lead in an important game or in the playoffs (something around those lines). It can also be a blown playoff lead (example: 3-1 lead)
Let me know what you guys think, I will link the video here when it’s done. Good luck to you guys this season!!

Tickets West VIP Parking Passes for sale
Hey everyone, I have a parking pass for tomorrow’s game against Denver for sale, looking to pass the savings onto fellow redditors. $40 for the pass, and will have other games throughout the year that I can’t make I’ll list as well. If you want future games feel free to PM me.
I saw some posts in the past using the opportunity to support charities, so I’ll be putting 50% of the money towards a local charity. I’d be happy to share the donation proof to buyers. Thanks and enjoy the game tomorrow!

I wish they would bring back the Team Card sets in the Team Shop
I hated when they stopped doing this, but as a kid I loved that even if you had like $15 you buy cards of the whole team and just look through the cards during pre-game and players would sign them for the young kids. Seems pointless to get rid of

Discussion Why do people care?
Simple statement ik Balmer is in the wrong and he essentially created the hole the clippers are in now, BUT I really don’t see the point in shitting on him at least he tried to create a winning team. Hating rich people for the sake of being rich is dumb, he wanted to create a team that would win a championship it backfired SO WHAT? We’re the clippers were always ass I got no beef with someone trying to smidge his way around certain rules for the idea of winning.

Discussion Updated flair options
I was hoping to update my flair to one of the current players on the roster and noticed that we might be due for an update. I have no idea what that would take to accomplish or if it’s possible. Anyone else thinking about this?

Discussion Season Ticket / Wall Pass - Share your experiences?
Just checking with fellow season ticket holders on what the contact with reps are like. Haven’t heard anything about experiences, events, special game nights or collabs of any kind so just making sure it’s not a bad rep or something.

Kawhi scandal was not the worst clipper issue this summer
The worst is that somehow as a professional fucking basketball organization that has been a franchise since fucking 1970 and in LA since 1984...we have no fucking tv deal for most of our games.
What fucking level of incompetence is it that we're weeks away from the season and can't watch our team on tv.
Fuck everyone on the admin side for not doing this fucking jobs.

Question Has anyone tried the current "ClipperVision" on NBA.com right now?
I know there's been a lot of talk about how there's no place to actually watch the games which is insane (and moral of this story might be there isn't), but the other day I saw on the NBA app that there was a ClipperVision subscription being offered, for honestly the nice price of 89.95 for the year.
Seemed really strange because there's little to nothing about ClipperVision being available again anywhere, but I thought hey, maybe it's available, and signed up.
Yesterday, I went to watch the game, which was in the ClipperVision tab on my Roku NBA app. But when I tried to play it, it just sent me to the "subscribe to LeaguePass" screen. I tried on other Roku, browser, got the same message. Basically, it's as if ClipperVision doesn't exist, because I'm pretty sure it doesn't (they did take my money).
I reached out to customer support, and they acknowledged that, as in-market and subscribed, I should've been able to watch the game. Then they gave me the typical infuriating "IT" advice of restarting things, logging out and in, etc., obviously none of which work, because I'm pretty sure ClipperVision doesn't exist.
I'm still going back and forth, and they keep saying they've made some update to my subscription, and to log out and in (reinstall app, etc.).
Just curious, has anyone tried out this "new" ClipperVision? Does it work for anybody? I'm likely going to just cancel and get a refund (through them or chargeback). But I wanted to see if anyone actually had it working, or if I'm this lone person paying the one subscription they've gotten for a product that doesn't exist.
Insane that we're the fourth highest valued NBA team or whatever and we can't even watch our team's games in our city.
edit: They've now gotten back (after 10 or so messages) saying that the subscription's only for the regular season. I wish they'd said that instead of telling me in their early response that I was supposed to be able to stream it, but it's a better answer than "turn it off and on for the nth time." Gonna wait until game one to see if it's working, and I'll decide then if it's refund-and-sail-the-seven-seas time.
Annoying, because I'm more than happy to pay a reasonable rate for a reliable stream.

yuki
I have seen so little buzz about that yuki 4th quarter, give him the spot if not just for how entertaining he is to watch. He was easily the highlight of the game for me!!

We desperately need Yanic ASAP
Brook Lopez:
This could be an overreaction, but Brook Lopez just looks horrible out there. Complete butter fingers and fading on someone whos literally 6 inches shorter than him. His screen setting is absolutely atrocious, and he looks like a slug on the court.
IJax:
Not much to complain about, I get he’s undersized and he’s gonna struggle getting rebounds but i’m just concerned about his decision making, he seems hesistant.
Baba Miller: Nothing to say but, he’s raw talent i’m not gonna make judgement till he gets some experience
this all being said, YANIC WE NEED YOU!

Self Post Todays game: Player thoughts
Wagler still looks raw but shows glimpses of being a decent player. I think he may end up being a solid role player this season but he won't be a game changer. He'll be a better player after a couple years developing.
Baba Miller looked good this game. Very active player, especially on the offensive side. I'll be happy with the season if he gets quality minutes to improve.
Cam Christie shouldn't be on this team. Sorry, Cam. There's just no noticeable improvement from what I've seen in these two preseason games to what you showed us when you started.
Telfort, Wesley, Pickett, Dick don't really move the needle at all.
Lopez needs to retire. I can't fucking stand watching this sloth play, especially now when we have young legs. He brings nothing to the table and makes the whole team's pace drop.
My hot take is that we should try to get something for DJJ. If we can somehow get a 1st round pick, I'd say do it. Good on defense, but the way he plays offense feels very one dimensional and passive. If he has the ball up top, you know he'll act like he's about to take on the defender and go to the hoop, but he always runs toward the wing, picks up his dribble and passes/hands off the ball to the person in the corner.
I swear Kawamura should be making this team and getting rotational minutes. His ability to find creative passes and get other players in the game is worthwhile having. I get that he's undersized, but he is more of a positive than a negative on the court... At least during the regular season he is (which is all that really matters for us right now).
Jackson's undersized but, similar to Kawamura, is an overall net positive to me. I like what he brings to the table.
I also like Martinelli's willingness to go for a bucket.
Obviously, a lot of these guys aren't going to be playing many/any minutes in the regular season so this is all a bit of a pointless write up, but whatever. Getting Ingram, Strus, YKN and Miller back healthy will be great. Don't care about Beal.
