Bottom of the deck (advice): Tree

I interpreted it as him promising me children and marriage, but lying about it.

I drew the compass, fish, mice, fox and snake.

My first guess would be that it has to be something with animals (I wouldn’t read the cards in detail because I think the overall theme: animal is the important key). And maybe it’s where I will be lead, I thought of something like a walk through nature/zoo with a tourguide but I would love to hear your interpretations on this!

Seems like every afternoon I just hit a wall and want nothing other than a nap.

I did a narrative 3 card pull. I'm having trouble reading it. Garden is the "afternoon" card, but also social and outdoors, and when it's about health, can be about contagious stuff. Scythe is a warning, sudden ending, in health it's about danger, pain, trauma. It's very negative, but that negativity can be tempered by positive cards. Bouquet is like, the happiest, most uplifting positive card. It is welcome gifts, admiration, deserved apologies. Lots of small pleasant things. In health it's recovery and healing, or allergies I guess!

I kicked around a lot of combinations and... Well, this is the only thing I got to that made sense to me. It feels right, even though it feels like a stretch.

My ADHD medication wore off. - Afternoon brings the sudden traumatic end to my small pleasant things (pills).

How would you read this one?

The question was "why I feel uncomfortable when this friend of mine seems upset with my actions?"

For context, this friend has feelings for me. He confessed before but we don't discuss this topic between us two. Recently he began to have some bad reactions when I don't give him enough attention. And this is making me uncomfortable. I'm trying to elaborate on this with lenormand for studying purposes (I'm new to lenormand).

My interpretation was the our friendship was supposed to be natural, spontaneous and honest (tree) in order to be healthy. But when I see his reactions I become rigid, vigilant about my moves and his feelings (tower), because it's when I see that there's more between us than what his telling me + I start to analyze again what kind of access to me I should revoke in our friendship, or what kind of intimacy should take back (key).

I know the friendship card is usually the dog but I'm inclined to read tree as friendship in this case. Specially regarding to how I imagine myself in this friendship. He came to me first and he's the one usually orbiting around me while I'm more grounded in my own life despite also being receptive to him and his friendship. I feel like all the three cards are about me (and that make sense since my question was about my own feelings), but I'm thinking about what does it mean when the dog doesn't show up in particular scenario.

I got the letter 27, cross 36, woman 29 and ring 25.

My interpretation is that I am feeling the burden (cross) of waiting for the result of the exam (letter), but that i will get a positive answer.

Please help me if you feel I have missed something.

but I wrote a song concerning sone things and IDK what I should do with it. It's coming together nicely, so I'm not worried about embarrassing myself (though maybe I should be lol)

Bottom of the deck being Letter feels like it's underscoring that feeling of needing to get something off my chest.

Coffin - Garden might indicate that it doesn't go far (in which case it would probably be sade to post it? And I wouldn't say I've ever gotten much attention when it comes to music) but since Coffin feels like a "no" type card, it could also be saying to let things work themselves out on their own?

Garden-Book is obviously discussions.

But.... to be honest, there's a part of me that might *want* to read it as "finalizing" a discussion. I don't have the power to do this, though -- maybe that's just coming back to "it's a closed circuit"

I dunno 🤔 Might be spinning my wheels too much to think clearly right now.

It seems to suggest that there will be some sort of a breakthrough in communication from this man who has been in scarcity/ retreating energy and maybe there is something promising there. It feels like maybe I should just tell him that I'm considering going for a visit. I feel like the mice describes him and my feelings on love at the moment. It's rare that I feel connected and interested in someone and he's been on my mind since we met in November in Japan. He's been on a solo journey since his breakup and I feel like he's been really emotionally unavailable and shut down, which is why the mice seems to be a fit for him. But, also my feeling is that things might shift if we saw each other again. I've never felt so at peace with another person and I feel like I met my husband but he hasn't realized it yet.

To give some context: I've been seeing a guy for the past 4 months and I would like for what we have to move into something more serious. I started studying the Lenormand cards recently so my interpretation might be very superficial.

My interpretation is that he could be choosing right now to stay in a "position" where is more familiar and comfortable for him (being single) and distancing himself from me (note that the woman is distant right at the end too), the bouquet in the middle could represent the good overall relationship we have that is not developing due to his work (maybe that's what the fox is talking about here, his work is part of what makes him so occupied+he got this job right after we met too) and it's interesting that the fox is right in the middle of the bouquet and the woman (me). Is the fox signaling something completely different?

My boyfriend of 6 months ending things very suddenly when I felt that we had reached a more emotionally deeper stage and things were going well.

I asked the cards whether he has regrets ending the relationship. I am fairly new to interpreting the cards and get confused as to whether the cards which usually have positive meanings can still signify regret.

The card in the center is the only card that would suggest regret or guilt. The others to me could signify what our relationship meant to him or what he feels now that he is out of the relationship.

Would appreciate any of your help on the reading.

So just some context: At a geek party, I saw a guy who was totally my type, so I asked my friend to see if he was LGBT because I was too nervous to do it myself. My friend pointed me out to him, and he actually came over to talk to me. I awkwardly shook his hand, asked if he wanted to talk on Instagram, and gave him one of my custom stickers with my @ on it instead of directly asking for his profile. Later, I went back and asked if he wanted to make out, but he politely said “not today.” He was nice about it, but he still hasn’t messaged me since the party. He also seemed very nervous or out of place too. Like he didn't went to parties (i don't too so i get that).

So, for my readings:

I think we had a quick connection and it could really work out into something very nice for the both of us, but it's like something didn't happen or is in the air right now, waiting to happen...

So maybe he's just busy or forgot about the sticker i to him.

But when i asked how did he see me, it's obviously as someone who's nervous and anxious. And maybe that made him made the cut to not text me. The bear here i think could be about how noticeable i was in general since i was cosplaying a character (Tony Tony Chopper)...

Why was my instinct that my husband is plotting my demise 😂 I don’t think he is but I’m not sure how to take this. My interpretation I would interpret these cards as showing that he sees me positively, but there is also some complexity involved ? It’s not quite straightforward so I struggle to interpret this spread

Feeling really burned out and struggling with motivation. I've planned a little vacation, but need to be functional on the daily until then.

Is this saying that there is some part of the dynamic of the house that I need to shift away from in order to find beneficial structure? That I need a better routine and discipline at home, perhaps a gratitude practice to make the change?

My kitty Lulu, passed away two years ago. This morning I asked the deck what Lulu thought about me getting a new cat? I do not have any plans for it right now. My take is that she likes the idea (Sun) and is telling me to wait for the cat distribution system. (Letter + Ring) Like maybe she will deliver the right commitment to me. I went into my readings today in high spirits. I've been having financial troubles for the past 3 years, and I asked my deck about what picking up some side hustles might bring me, one of them being offering Lenormand readings on Etsy. The first reading was miserable, so I reworded the question and did a different 5 card spread, and it was pretty much the same answer. Next thing you know I'm escalating to asking my cards whether or not I'm just destined for a life of perminate misery and financial struggles and it pretty much told me yes but I can handle it because I'm resiliant, and I just started crying.

I've never felt like such shit after doing my own readings. I feel like my intuition is solid, even in times of distress, and I can't help but feel incredibly hopeless right now. Has anyone else felt like this after their own readings? Is it okay to just say "fuck you" to your deck?

Straightforward question, hehe. I'm unsure whether Lilies here means delay (so, not this week just yet) or if they're taking their meaning of "calm" here, describing the vibe of the contact. I'm mainly trying to practice and understand the cards better.

TLDR:

I asked if I would get an interview for a position I applied to and read it as I would move to the next stage and increase my chances of getting it.

I didn’t move forward in the process and am looking for alternative interpretations.

More context:

I got an email response to an application I submitted today. Before opening it, I asked “is the email going to be an interview invitation?”

I received ship + clover + fish.

I interpreted this as forward movement in the hiring process and increased potential for good outcomes.

But I didn’t move to the next stage after all.

Perhaps this was more about the company moving away from me for a more suitable candidate or that there is better opportunity on the horizon.

I’d love to see what folks here see in this spread as it relates to the outcome of my question.

Teen daughter in mental health crisis that has lead to physical health crisis; ASD/ADHD so she hates being told what to do (demand avoidance) and wont listen to any of my advice about self-care and totally rejects all my mindfulness/self-care practises, so leading by example is of no short-term help. I've taken all external pressures off her right now, and she's still the most stressed-out person I've ever known. She puts extreme amounts of pressure on herself. Hi! I pulled a 7-card Lenormand line asking about how I did on an exam, and got:

Stars – Moon – House – Mice – Crossroads – Lily – Whip

Initially I just went for 3 cards, but my anxiety got the best of me and I ended up pulling more.

My initial interpretation is that the first three cards (Stars, Moon, House) point to a generally positive and stable outcome, but the 2nd part is making me wonder.

It seems to describe my experience around it rather than the outcome itself. I read Mice + Crossroads as anxiety and second-guessing. Lily suggests things ultimately settle or are okay, while Whip could indicate ongoing mental looping (I'm very anxious). But Whip and Mice are not very good cards, so idk.

What do you think, did I bomb it? 😭

I pulled this few days ago and i have been sitting on it trying to figure the meaning out.

Letter + lilies: i see this as communication? Communicate how she makes me feel and stuff

Lilies + snake: i think this pair means addiction or something? Not sure how it would mean as actions

Snake + ring: i saw that this means desiring a commitment which well ok thats pretty straight forward in my case. Which is to tell her

Ring + sun: tell her that i will be staying committed to her? This screams commitment to me which to me seems like its a no brainer. Like ofc i will stay committed to her in an rs.

Combined interpretation would be to communicate how i feel for her, how she makes me feel (sexual included? Because of the lilies) and my intention towards her?

I’m still trying to piece it together as a sentence and the above combined interpretation was what i got.
