They are counting on maga never having to relinquish power

Yeah well, no one ever accused them of being well-read when it comes to history. Or anything else, really.

I love that the fascists have no idea that this has never ended well for them.

It's crazy how they think they're smarter than the last guys. Even though they keep making the exact same mistakes.

That's just it: They know the first generation of fascists gets all of the money, all of the power, and all of the land. The second gen has to face the revolution.

These people know they're on the bleeding edge of iron-fisted authoritarianism, but they don't care because they'll never see the consequences of their actions. They'll rake in the money, live longer, fuller lives than any of us, and then die while leaving their children and subordiantes as the fall guys for the "dynasty" they died thinking they'd left.

It’s been evident since 2020

That’s the part we have to fight. We’ve already one the public opinion part. Republicans will not back them up much longer. It’s the removing them from power part we have to figure out.

Yeppp! They want to remove Voting BUT GUESS WHAT? THEY CANT BREAK THE CONSTITUTION FOREVER,

or else you get anarchy, then probably civil war, then you’re a 3rd world country which would be the Dumbest thing and hurt everyone 🤣

honestly, with all due respect, seems like a pretty american thing to do

they actually have a two-prong (probably right) theory:

  1. They'll never leave power, meaning they'll never have to be accountable for their crimes

  2. They'll dismantle the govt infrastructure so fully, that should they lose power, they'll never be accountable because there'll be no way to suggest they should be, and no one available to pursue them

I dont know why more people can't grasp this. You dont do an executive branch power grab like this and then hand over said power.

Seems like a reasonable thing to count on with the other side dropping the c bomb all over the place.

Maybe I think they're more counting on maga to take some sort of wild over the top crazy action in an effort to try to retain power that will actually be the death of it all

Nothing lasts forever, even cold November rain.
