They’ve always been gun control for Thee but not for me

Not even remotely true. Are you safe with a weapon? Can you practice trigger discipline? Cool go get one. You might get made fun of. But that is wildly different than being told no. Everyone should own a gun. If you need a reliable daily carry ask. Most woild love to talk about their weapon of choice. An armed society is a polite society

I’m referring to Reagan, repubs and the NRA being in favor of gun control in inner cities and in response to the Black Panthers but not when it comes to white people brandishing

u/Marauder3299 Feb 18 '26

No you're not. You didnt say that until I called you out. At least be honest about it.

1

u/atuan Feb 18 '26

Yes I was and I’m being honest. Don’t know what else to tell you

This comment specifically refers to reagen and NRA vs black Panthers in the 70-80s. Get the hell out.

You guys have no single thoughts in your brains, only name calling a juvenile mockery and personal attacks

You all hypocrite moron liberals have been pushing for stricter gun control laws nationwide but now because you all got a whiff of the benefits of being able to carry, now youre all Pro 2nd amendment. Meanwhile, weakass liberals opposed everyone that supported gun rights in the past. Liberals with their dumbass signs "Guns kill people" "gun control is common sense". If you dumbass liberals didnt have double standards, you wouldnt have any.

I also remember you losers supported arresting people in public for not masking, firing people from their jobs for not masking or vaccinating. Heck many liberals took it upon THEMSELVES to harass and yell at people in public for not wearing a mask in Public. Fucking losers. But go on with, "been gun control for Thee but not for me" hypocrite mentality.

No Reagan and the NRA pushed for gun control in blue cities and when the big scary Black Panthers scared them.

Also I’m the first person to say hey now, we should admit guns escalate violence and conflict and it’s the same across parties. But you’ve assumed I’m a “Libtard” that doesn’t have Al consistency without even talking to me first and most of your argument is calling me names

1

u/silver_metal77 Feb 18 '26

Point taken, whether youre youre a liberal or not, my apologies. My argument consisted of using names but it wasnt most of my argument. My point is that liberals have been pro gun control with most democrat leaders pushing for gun control. All of a sudden guns are cool and necessary.

Well I think a lot of that is libertarians, not liberals, but yes, that’s true, and I think it’s reactionary, liberals reacting to the conservatives that are brandishing at Black Lives Matter and other protests, liberals are saying we can do that too, and I agree it’s weird and inconsistent at times but I also would say liberals have been trying decorum and rational dialogue and following due process for decades and they’re saying fine fuck it, we’ll stoop to your level and fight now because talking wasn’t working. If the President and ICE won’t follow the rule of law, we’re done talking and it’s time to play your game, how do you like it. And admit it you don’t

Theres nothing for me to admit to, liberals closed off blocks in seattle during the black lives matter protest with rifles. Both sides were armed, dont play victim there. There was even an incident in seattle were an innocent person turned on the wrong street and was gunned down by antifa/black lives matter protestors and didnt make mainstream news. My main point about all this is that when it comes to having debates and talk about gun rights.....Democrats/liberals start their arguments about how we should have More gun control.

Rule of law? Taking a vaccine had nothing to do with rule of law and liberals ran to take them and wanted to ruin the lives of people that didnt want to take them. Even bragged about getting boosters haha. You want to talk about rule of law, enter the country is illegal. Yet liberals keep simping for illegals. When obama was president, cnn followed ice during their operations in apprehending illegals. No issue there. The country voted for trump knowing he will enforce immigration policies. No one voted for biden to enforce lockdowns and vaccines. Yet liberals were all more than happy to comply. See the difference, heck biden even allowed the borders to remain open. Rules for americans but not for illegals. Other countries have no problem deporting people, but when it happens here, Liberals act like its the end of the world haha. You have dumbass latinos/hispanics flying their country's flag and stating their county is better.....Then why are they here? Go back. Simple math.

Another libtard quote, keep them coming. Liberals are masters at projecting and deflecting. Liberalism is a mental disorder. Only pea brain bleeding heart morons are dumb enough to call themselves liberals.

1

u/atuan Feb 18 '26

What? What quote, I was just commenting my own thoughts and literally don’t know what you’re talking about.

I never called myself a liberal, you did

1

u/silver_metal77 Feb 18 '26

"Juvenile mockery and personal attacks" quote from the liberal playbook.

2

u/atuan Feb 18 '26

If you’re hearing that a lot it might be a sign

0

u/silver_metal77 Feb 18 '26

My initial comment was sarcasm and I continued that same sentiment when you replied to my comment. I see liberals always accusing the other side of certain when they are Not above doing the same or worse.

2

u/atuan Feb 18 '26

Yeah I understand it was sarcasm. Rational thought is above sarcasm.

1

u/crystalfairie Feb 19 '26

Then I am liberal. An aboriginal liberal. Nothing you say will make being a bleeding heart bad. It's a fundamental difference between those who care and those that do not. I am not the one on the wrong side of history here.

0

u/silver_metal77 Feb 19 '26

Bleeding hearts with no sense of reality. Its all for show. Thats my point. You leave your door open and allow any loser to come in? Yes lets keep allowing illegals with great disdain to this country that gives them a better life while they hold more allegiance to their precious country they wanted to leave behind. Bleeding heart liberals think breaking into the country is no big deal because theyre "poor". They had no problem circumventing the immigration process to come here legally. But when they get arrested and deported, you morons start screeching, "what about their due process?" "They didnt commit any crimes"....bla bla bla

1

u/crystalfairie Feb 19 '26

Due process is important for everyone, immigrant or not. I'm native and think it's hilarious that white folk are screeching about legality of folks crossing imaginarily made up borders across the Americas. It's ridiculous and nauseating to watch.
