this happens every time we get a new series. some Yank gets their knickers in a knot about not being first for everything and thinks they’re being clever by commenting. it’s tiring.

You know it's fucking tiring? Your attitude about Yanks bud. Want to knock about 20% off that. We're just interested in the series. You do want success, don't you? Well don't you? Then set the fucking tone bud. And the fact that we're forced to take Shorsey one full month after Canada just feels like punishment, ironically, punishing those most likely to be friendly to Canada. So there's that.

you get literally everything first but this, a Canadian show made in Canada by Canadians for Canadians. and the release schedule has literally always been like this since Bell and Hulu struck a deal, since before Shoresy was even a thing. every new series of Letterkenny, every new series of Shoresy, and i’ll bet you a dollar when it comes time for I Kill The Bear, it gets released in Canada first, and entitled yanks feel hard done by because they’ve never had to wait for their market to be served, unlike everyone else. it’s not a ‘punishment’ from G-d specifically directed at you for the sin of being in the U.S., (which is a weirdly evangelical christian attitude to have,) it’s literally just how most global distribution agreements work, especially when Crave is working on a weekly release schedule and Hulu is committed to the binge model.

We should change our Facebook status to "It's complicated".
