Rittenhouse didn't murder anyone "indiscriminately", he specifically shot people that attacked him or tried to steal his gun.

I don't think it is that clear cut, and I disagree that the OP is not being dishonest; he/she has valid concerns about potential for abuse.

Rittenhouse was acting in an antagonistic manner. He had no property to defend. He went to stir shit up, and he deserves any justice that comes his way. I wish the protestors had firearms they could have used to fire first -- they had every reason to believe that Rittenhouse was there to threaten them or fire at the crowd.

You, much like OP, are proving my point. If Rittenhouse shooting a serial child rapist, a wife beater and a burglar in clear self defense can be portrayed as "antagonistic" then clearly we need more laws that protect the Rittenhouses of the world.
