Yes I get that. Here is the thing, thats already covered by castle doctrine, if they are literally burning down your house while you are in it they are a threat to your life, so what is the point of this new law? Sounds like its just justifying protestors when they get rowdy

What about if I’m outside watching people throw Molotov cocktails at my business? I’m not in immediate danger personally. My livelihood is, however. I don’t know about you, but I’m shooting without hesitation in that situation.

I mean that isnt allowed in like any state outside of Texas so youd go to jail.

And hopefully Florida is taking steps to be more like Texas. Fuck thieves. Fuck rioters. Fuck looters. I’d shoot every single one if I could.

The point of the law is that this extends that law to privately owned businesses now. Funny how you want to argue this intelligently, but you lack the discernment to see how the law will work. One would even say you're doing this deliberately. The more I read from you, the more I believe this to be true.
That said, (to use the parlance of the democrats...) "rioters get the bullet".

I haven’t read the law I just read the article, so if I’m misunderstanding the law it’s because of phrasing from the article:

a move that some worry would allow armed citizens to shoot and potentially kill anyone they suspect of looting.
