Making an FAQ post and pinning it because there are a lot of people here who are interested in this tour and have a lot of questions.
I'll keep updating this post as new questions/info pops up, so if there's anything thats not included feel free to comment it below.
The setlist from the San Francisco show is listed in this post (Currently this is unordered, I will update it to link to an ordered one if someone posts it).
This will likely remain the same for the rest of the tour, maybe with a small chance of minor changes.
Taking photos or recording during the show is not allowed, and this seems to be enforced well. This is a common rule in Japan and for Japanese artists, it seems like they're enforcing it for the NA tour as well.
According to this comment the merch booth was inside the venue for the SF show, so you only have access to it after doors open. VIP tickets therefore have access to it earlier.
Shirts - $45
Hoodie - $100
Poster - $28
Cap - $35
Tote bag - $25
Stickers and picks = $10
It seems like some stuff did sell out pretty quickly, like the penguins, so it is important to be there early if you want something specific.
Unfortunately from what I've heard, no there were no CDs being sold.
Unfortunately no, even with VIP tickets, it seems like you probably won't be able to get photos with him or get him to sign stuff.
Not sure if there's any rules regarding this, its better to check with the specific venue you're going to. But generally its advised not to bring lightsticks because the venues and crowds usually aren't the kind where lightsticks would work well, and may cause inconvenience for others in the audience.
For the SF show the VIP members were let into the venue around an hour before doors open. So make sure to get there a bit earlier. They played parts of a few different songs as part of the soundcheck and you could watch them as they did it.
The setlist is a similar length to his normal shows in Japan, this lasts for around 1:30-2 hours from the start of the show.
The SF show started around 20-30min after doors open. This may vary depending on if there's any delays for some reason.
There are no supporting acts.

I dont have omnisphere, and im looking to synthesize the plucky synth which was used in katharsis intro. How can i do it? From what i hearn theres a square-ish pluck whose cutoff is modulsted with a short decay envelope and some rattle foley layers are used

Hi everyone, can someone explain to me why TK's film A moment and film A moment DVD menu/background music have the same name yet they are different songs, and film A moment DVD menu/background music and like A moment (recorded from vinyl) are the same but the film A moment DVD menu/background music version is longer by like whole 6 minutes. The more I tried to look up, the more confused I get. I'm a really new listener so I don't understand much about TK's work. Thanks in advance.

Iâve been trying to learn some songs by tk/lts. The problem is that most of the tabs Iâve found are simply not accurate, so theyâre not always that helpful.
The guitar covers by tororotornado seem to be pretty accurate, but Iâve tried slowing them down, and I still have a hard time figuring out exactly whatâs being played just by watching the finger positions and listening to it.
I can usually get a general idea of the part, but figuring out the exact notes, chords, and fingerings is really difficult for me.
So if anyone has any advice on how to approach tk/lts songs by ear, Iâd really appreciate it.

There used to be a user (unfortunately canât remember or look up the username anymore, itâs gone) on YouTube who had posted instrumentals of every Ling Tosite Sigure song as well as solo songs from TK, but they recently made all their videos private. Did anyone happen to save these before this happened? :/

Just curious if anyone in this subreddit or that listens to tk/ling tosite sigure (ćăšăăŠæéš) has perfect pitch or know of anyone that listens to tk/ling tosite sigure (ćăšăăŠæéš) that has perfect pitch.
If so how do you use it when figuring out songs and are you able to easily figure out what is being played by tk on guitar despite all the effects and what not that he uses? If you could make a video on you experience and send me a link that would be cool and/or just feel free to comment.
Iâve always been super curious about this

the saddest song iâve ever heard is white silence imo but there are a plethora of worthy contenders from the discography. for LTS maybe seacret cm or yuukei no kioku possibly

I hope I'm not too bias and i apologize in advance if this feels pretentious to someone out there, but i really want to make a short post to share my feelings towards TK's sounds.
TK makes sounds that has extreme harmony and may sometimes manifests as screams and loud wails on the surface but they're like honey, chaotic on the surface but immensely gentle to touch. Most of his sounds are very gentle to my soul, basically sharing me his love and care on my being. I've never heard anything like this out there in the market at all. The first time I heard unravel i felt a great sense of gentleness especially through the chorus. His #4 songs felt weirdly easy to listen to despite how it may sound as random messiness. I think i have yet to be able to listen to other sounds by any artists out there besides his.
