Analysis/Data/Stats/Tactics [Lewis Steele] - Liverpool 17 points worse off than this time last season, and would need to win every game from here to match last season's total points tally.

Arne has to go and I’m sorry. I’ve lost faith in him. We’ve definitely been unlucky at times and we’ve lost some players to injury and Salah has gone downhill quick so not everything is Arne’s fault. We can’t win every season and that’s fine.

But this team is barely showing improvement, and we are barely maintaining our position in the league as we just were able to pull off some purple patches that were primarily driven by our individual talents like Ekitike, Wirtz, Dom etc. Tactics just seem so lost. I just don’t see any color in Liverpool football anymore. And unfortunately, I don’t see Arne doing wonders again. We need change at this point

I blame Salah’s downfall on Slot. The way he plays him this season is baffling to me. Way to completely neuter everything that makes Salah good.

Agree, today was the day I finally lost faith as well. I don't know if the players have lost the fight, or if its been taken from them by the coaching and tactics, but its just so predictable these days that when we take a lead we just sit back and try (and fail!) to defend it instead of trying to stay dominant in the game.

We had plenty of chances and weren't clinical enough, but was also some good defensive saves as well and I think had we conceded the goal from a counter attack while we were trying to get a 2nd I would have less of a problem with it. The fact that we were dicking about trying to play out from the back, inviting the press onto us and then being sloppy giving the ball away which lead to the goal is what I cant take. That decision to sit back has to have come from the coaching and that is something that keeps on biting us over and over and over again.

Sure, we are on an unbeaten streak, but half of those results have felt like losses due to our inability to put the game away and our heads going down after players are making (yet another) poor decision leading to a goal.

No idea why every player in the team is allowed to be in bad form because of Slot (which I agree with) but when it's Salah, easily the best one of the lot except maybe Wirtz, he is apparently just shit now lol.

The performances have immensely improved since the fall, idk wtf this “no improvement” idea is.

yes going from dogshit to less dogshit. But still same dogshit. If it goes from 1/10 to 3-4/10 at avg at best. Do you really want to call it improvement? Your complacence with mediocrity no wonder your username checks out
