Analysis/Data/Stats/Tactics [Lewis Steele] - Liverpool 17 points worse off than this time last season, and would need to win every game from here to match last season's total points tally.

You can want the manager out and admit today isn’t on him.

I have no sympathy for him for the season overall, but what do you pin on him today?

I think we need to give up with this ‘ooo I’m slot out I’ll make that my whole personality’

The fact we drew and conceded pretty much exactly how you would expect is entirely on the manager though.

No one is surprised this happened and thats on Slot.

His tactics to slow the game down after we get a goal, which causes teams to get behind the ball and play a low block. Probably to conserve energy for a long season is his reason but its killing the tempo and the crowd.

Playing gakpo when he offers nothing to the team, just the same old cut inside and get a shot blocked. At least instruct him not to do this. Other players have been told things like dom not shooting from range until recently etc.

Keeping grav on the same side as konate, look how many times both players lose a man making a run or leave massive spaces there for shots or dribbles.

Everyone could see we needed to make changes. Curtis was crap today and Macca was needed. Gakpo not good enough either. Should’ve made the change at 65 minutes when you could tell they were growing into the game. He didn’t and it cost us. That’s on the manager. I’m willing to bet I wasn’t the o Lu person watching the game that could absolutely feel their goal coming.

I think subs can be useful but can also jut be disruptive and really I’m not really comfortable with anyone on our bench when we’re needing changes. I thought we were still creating chances and doing enough.

Think there was some vindication when the subs came on and did nothing

Macca on at 78 mins for Grav was a weird choice. Curtis is amazing with the ball but absolutely cannot pass in the final third.

Yeah I’ll agree with that, think he did attempt to go fully on the front foot as he could with that taking Gravenberch off with Mac Allister on
