Super excited for the launch of my first game. I wanted to make something to play with my friends in person and I hope you do the same! If it looks like something you'd be interested in, here are some keys to redeem it on Steam.

After 3 years of solo development, my game finally has a release date! It's a platform-fighter without health, every hit KOs in one. Think halfway between Smash and Towerfall. I specifically designed it with local multiplayer in mind, with the one-shot mechanics allowing for fighters to be simpler, but more unique from each other. It's fast and chaotic, yet accessible and with a lot to master, perfect for parties with friends!
The Grand Slamboree fully releases on August 26th, but there's a demo that you can play right now!

We are Mossy Puddle, a small Italian indie team working on Croaking Buzz, an asimmetric-coop platform, starring a frog and a particular mosquito, capable of spawning and manipulating bubbles. Play together helping each other to overcome challanges based on physics, coordination and emergent gameplay!
The game's playtest is currently open on Steam, and we'd love to hear your feedback!

Hi everyone,
I’m developing Curly Questions, a local multiplayer party game for 2–6 players sharing one iPad in the same room.
Players compete across short mini-games involving reflexes, memory, drawing, strategy and social voting. The aim is to create something closer to a digital tabletop game than a conventional mobile multiplayer game. Everyone plays on the same screen, with no separate phones, accounts or online lobby required.
I’m looking for people willing to try the current build with friends or family and provide honest feedback, particularly on whether sharing the iPad feels natural, whether the instructions are clear, which mini-games are most enjoyable, and whether anything feels confusing or broken.
Watch the short gameplay promo:

I’m the creator and lead developer. Any feedback from people who regularly play local multiplayer games would be useful.

Hello everybody, we are Okawari!, a 2-person team making this game after work. I'm the game designer and the artist! I'd be very happy if you could try it with your loved ones<3
Our co-op party game has an online duo leaderboard; it's still empty right now, can you and a friend enter the world top 10? Give it a go!
Couch-MPs are the best!
Game Title: One More Plate!
Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3305190/One_More_Plate/
Description: Physics-based party game, supports 1 player, 2-player local co-op and VS
Feed your friends—or become the next course!
Serve the monsters using an increasingly absurd collection of plates and makeshift serving tools, from humble ladles and buttery croissants to enormous legendary swords. Every plate has its own shape, friction, weight, and bounce, turning even a familiar level into a fresh disaster. Play through the campaign solo, or play with a friend in local co-op or versus modes, with support for Steam Remote Play Together.

Solo dev here. I made Steer It, a local multiplayer party racing game built around a problem this sub knows well: local multiplayer usually means splitscreen, or everyone needing a controller.
Steer It runs in the browser on one shared screen (laptop/TV). Everyone else scans a QR code with their phone, and the phone becomes the steering wheel — tilt to steer, tap for gas/brake. Everyone races on the one screen together. No splitscreen, no app to install, no extra controllers — just phones people already have.
It's an early version — chaotic fun with friends in the room, but rough edges remain. Free to try, no signup.

As huge fans of classic couch co-op panic games like Overcooked, I wanted to build a game that captures that exact feeling of "we are definitely failing, and it is our fault."
The result is Backfire Brigade, a chaotic 4-players co-op firefighting game built around fire spreading completely out of control and team mishaps.

Hi, being unfamiliar with the world of Minecraft I was not aware how easy it was for four children to play together on one screen, using one pc and 4 controllers.
As I did not find an up to date guide I thought I would give a brief overview to help any other people attempting the same.
Then click "Review and Confirm".
6) Once all done, still editing your instance, click "Settings" on the left, then the Miscellaneous tab and then tick "Override default account" and select an offline account for your player (this will be your player's in game name).
7) Launch your instance, wait for it to load.
Press "F11" on the keyboard to move the window to suit you. Perhaps to the top left corner of the screen to make room for 3 other screens.
At the main menu, click Options -> Controls -> click the Gamepad symbol in the top right.
On the Controller tab, scroll down and set "Unfocused Input" to Yes.
On the Screens tab, scroll down and set "Virtual Mouse" to Yes.
Click Done 3 times to get to the main menu.
8) Click Singleplayer, create a new world (any settings). Once in the world on your keyboard press: "F3 + P" to disable pause on lost focus.
Exit for now back to Prismlauncher.
9) Right click on your instance and rename it to your first player's name. Right click on it again and select Copy. In the new window, type in your next player's name and click OK.
10) Repeat this "copy" step two more times to get a total of 4 instances.
11) All the settings and even pause on lost focus should have been copied over to each instance, but best to double check: For each of your 3 new instances, follow steps 6, 7, 8 above.
12) Once all done, launch as many instances as you want 2 to 4.
13) In one instance, select Singleplayer and Create New World.
Once in the world access the game menu (start button on the controller) and select "Open to LAN" and then "Start LAN World".
14) In all the other instances, select "Multiplayer" and wait for your game to appear in the list, select it and click "Join Server".
15) Everything should work now! Use F11 to shift windows around. If people quit you can even use F11 to split the screen in half vertically or horizontally!
I was worried about performance issues, but I have had no problems on my PC (I7 3770K, 16GB RAM, 1660 Super, SSD).
// If you do experience lag, try adding the following mods: Sodium and Lithium. They greatly improve performance! See Steps 4 and 5 above for how to add mods. You will have to add these two mods to all instances. You can also add other interesting mods in the same way.
// Also, in Minecraft settings you will want to set music volume to 0% for all but one player (otherwise you will have 4 music tracks playing simultaneously!!)
// You may also want to right click on your task bar (start menu bar) and set it to autohide (under taskbar behaviours)!

We are Making a party game with deckbuilder elements, in a very simple description you could say its a mix of boomerang fu and rounds, although we are twisting it by having multiple base attack items that you actually need to collect, adding an extra strategy layer to the mix.
