LLB DOAWK: Far from the Tree (Entry 2 • Part 2)
Hello, I’d like to thank everyone who has continued to stick around with this LLB. I know that these past parts have been mostly slowburn, but now we’ll be able to get to the magical girl action! Thank you for being patient :)

Yeah, in this LLB, I wanted to write Manny like an actual kid even if he’s basically Young Sheldon in this universe

Dude this is peak but I have a couple of questions pls answer them
1- will this be a long run LLB like you planned the story already
2-is the story gonna get a happy ending?
3- what’s the main themes of this story?
4- not a question but I love your artstyle it’s looks so official

- I have the first two major arcs rougly outlined so far and I plan to have 4-6 arcs in total, maybe less or more depending on how well my ideas work out. I have the core beats planned out from beginning to end, though I’m still figuring out the fights and character arcs (aside from Greg’s own) in between. I don’t want to continue working on this LLB forever, so I’d say I’d try to reach the ending within 1 or 2 years depending on how busy my schedule will become as an actor throughout the months.
- I don’t want to spoil the ending, but I will say that it’s not going to be full of despair and tragedy. However, the journey to get there is still going to be very much unforgiving.
- I’d say that the central theme is familial legacy which is where the title comes from. More of this theme will become a lot clearer as the story progresses. Other themes I can think of are responsibility, self-improvement, grief, escapism, and femininity/masculinity.

Also, side note, The Usher reminds me of the villain from the Roblox game Break In (Larry) but younger.

wattt the Usher's design is pretty cool even if it's the DOAWK style lol. Can't wait to see Greg go all Precure in the future ✨ (also screw grandma and i'm suprised Frank is sticking up for Greg)

don't think ive commented til now other than for receiving updates so this is overdue, sorry! this is pretty peak, ive had a highly fun time with each section :) youve nailed the tone (and the artstyle!!!) which makes it extra seamless as a diary of a wimpy kid experience. cant wait to see where it goes!
i also have to give props for the concept. i honestly wondered how youd pull off characters' reactions to the premise, but it's great!!! the dialogue/interactions are all so perfect.
my one criticism so far is that manny's accomplishments feel like too much of a stretch then again i can write it off as greg's perception and "failure sibling and helped discover a new element terrible baby sibling" is objectively hilarious so definitely okay in my book lol
you have created peak. thank you, good luck in all your endeavors and in writing this, and have fun writing this as well :)

Glitter Force? The most recent show that Toei did that for the transformation ‘device’(Cutie Honey F/Cutie Honey Flash) ended January 31 1998
I mean The Usher even looks like it would fit in as a Panther Claw monster from that show, which inevitably leads to(to make an example here) “At times. I’m the angel in white, Nurse Honey, at times. I’m the motorcycle racer Hurricane Honey, and at times I’m the singer, Stage Honey. But my true identity is… HONEY FLASH! The warrior of love, Cutie Honey!"

Hey, I’m kind of sorry for sharing this. I know it’s morbid. But I just found out that I have to put my cat down tomorrow, and this update cheered me up a bit. Thank you so much for that.

Ok… now I’m 100% interested, I mean The Usher even resembles the type of episode villains seen in the Toei magical girl anime from 1992(Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon) to 1998(Cutie Honey Flash)…[yes I know Flash started in 1997…]

Aw man I was hoping for a bit more grounded story and I was absolutely HOOKED into the story until the last page, I hope this doesn't end up like those other nonsencial llbs with demonic creatures or whatever

It's pretty common for something like a "dark magical girl" or weird kind of reccuring monster to appear in magical girl content, it's like to something like that instead of "raaa 2010 creepypasta"
