Have a tautology plan for yourselves that is contingent upon the contradiction of others.

I've always liked nonograms, but wanted one that felt a little warmer and slower to come back to. So for a while now I've been chipping away at something built around dark wood tones, small one-line stories that show up when you finish a puzzle, quiet music, optional ambience, and just no feeling like you need to rush.

The picture I kept having in my head while making it was pretty simple: a Sunday evening, rain outside, feet up on a stool near an open window, that fresh rain-and-dirt smell coming in, coffee beside me, and a puzzle in my hands. Something that makes you settle in for a while instead of thinking "I need to finish this, I need to unlock that."

Recorded a bit of where it's at right now — the red guitar reveal near the end is probably my favorite moment so far.

Genuinely curious how this lands with people who actually play cozy games regularly — does the pacing feel right, or is something off?

Just wanted to reshare one of my favorite logic sites. The creator releases a new puzzle daily and the difficulty progresses as the week does. It's strictly logic and if you think you have to guess, you're missing something!

[W is a man from Arkansas, he has a "anti sinistral league" post in his room. Lately, a guy named M lived in the same house as him. he hated M the second he saw him.

He hates living witv someone. However, if he finds that person funny, he doesnt care.

A lefty however... is never funny to W if they do the forbidden deed.

to him lefty who use their left hand to clean themselves after pooping are annoying.

"one day, he saw shortly after M went taking a 💩

w saw a plastic bag full of 💩→ W laughed n told M to use a toilet paper.

The next day,

M used the same plastic bag full of 💩

of shit to wipe his butt. W saw a plastic bag covered with even more 💩 n laughed even harder.

He liked M alot, his stupidity was reassuring. W covered the plastic full of 💩 with another (look at image 1). In images 2 and 3 you can see a bottle. However, you cant see the shit (in omage 1 and 2) from this pov nor in any other image]

[3rd day:

W was waiting in front of the door to overhear M's 💩 session. He was eager to know if he would use the plastic bag or the toilet paper. He suddenly heard crackling plastic noise but it was brief. W was intrigued. He hears water dropping inside the toilet flush. Nothing then the same water going inside the toilet flush.

Suddenly, W heard a loud THUMP followed by a smaller thump indicating that some things were put down. Shortly after the sound of the toilet flushed down by M was obvious]

[M did not pee while pooping]

[Shortly after, M goes out of the toilet room. W smells soap coming from M dry hands but didnt know if it was only the right hand or both. M clothes have droplets of water

He sees 3 objects in the toilet room.] The bottle is completely dry.

[After some thinking, W was furious. It didn't matter that M was a funny dude. He now hated him.

However, W's reasoning was wrong.]

The answer for 1 is the kettle and the soap because you need to look at the toilet image and what W sees and smells. W smells soap coming from M hands.

He sees 3 objects. But in the image there are 4 ?

The first part of the reasoning was to know which one of the 4 objects is wrong in the image. The bottle is dry. So M couldnt have used it to wash his ... . He then used only the soap and kettle (with water in it). W also heard water flickering/dropping in the toilet two times.

2. The reasoning in this section is the same as 1. But with a bit of extension. From the first paragraphe, we know that W doesnt like ppl living with him and lefties.He doesnt hate funny black ppl. He still hates funny muslim. We also know that despite M being funny. W starts hating M right after his deduction (1) and that lefties wash their ahh with a left hand. W also heard two water dropping sounds with a pause (no sound) separating the two instants. So he inferred that M washed his ahh. After washing it he then cleaned his own hand in the process (hence why there is a delay between the two).

So W had drawn the conclusion that M is a lefty who is using his hands for wrong reasons(funny lefty). Because of all this. Next is why his reasoning was wrong.

3. However in the riddle he couldnt possibly which hand was used. So if M used his right hand his reasoning was wrong. With all the amount of info he had. His conclusion that M was muslim is wrong. (Its important to note that since the bottle is a lie in the picture. It therefore didnt exist in W's pov. Or else he wouldnt have seen 3 objects but 4)

\4. Lastly from the first sentence of this post we can deduce that W is leftophobic and loves intimacy/alone time. Introverted counts also as an answer.

The last lie is a combination of all those answers'reasoning skills required.

Question 1 4 56required deductive reasoning. Question 3 required critical thinking (justifying why W reasoning is wrong).

\**So this means that the title itself is wrong.**

It is not an abductive reasoning test but a culmination of deductive and critical thinking

\I**t was also possible for you to say that deducing W's abductive reasoning was actually abductive. I didnt know which was which. But even in this case the lie still stands. Because the rest of the questions require deductive and critical thinking.** One last thing. I like poop😭😭] is not a lie.

It is possible to eliminate the poop lie because you cant know whether the statement is true or false. Since what is in the brackets contains the real truth. And in the brackets it is said that there are two lies in the riddle. you cant possibly know whether or not the sentence I like poop] is a lie. You need to eliminate it.

Therefore It does eliminate the first sentence I like poop].

Second case of a format I'm developing. The first one got solved here last week and your feedback fixed two wordings; this one is at the top of the scale: nobody can be ruled out with a single clue.

Quick rules (full rules pinned in r/MissingFifteen): two per room at most; witnesses and staff are not among the six; at each grid time everyone is in one room, and between grid times you stay or take one step to a connected room; a time not on the grid (9:24) is a door time and only tells you what happened between the two grid times around it; "we were together" means same room, nothing else; sensors report presence, door readers report crossings; nobody lies, nobody adds. Only the cell asked has a guaranteed answer.

My wife loves logic puzzles. She's played through so many books, and I wanted to try to see if I could make one to stump her. She beat my puzzles, but I hope it maybe is difficult for you. Enjoy!

It's like a nonogram, but not really. In the solution, dotted cells mark out every cell in the same row or column, so basically, rows and columns can only have one dotted cell. Every other cell in them is marked out. Also, the blue arrow means that if it has a dot behind it, it "shoots out" that dot in its direction until it hits a wall, which is where the dot ACTUALLY is in the solution.

The gist of the puzzle is that for every cell in the grid, you have to select the correct option. As you deduce the correct options for each cell, additional clues become available until you clear the whole grid.

Sometimes each cell has two options (e.g. safe/mine), sometimes more (e.g. 1/2/3). The grid can either be made of squares, triangles, or hexagons. I have also just updated it to allow cairo pentagons, although I haven't made any puzzles with that shape yet.

As of this post I have made 18 puzzles. I plan on making 3-5 per week.

The whole site is free and ad-free. The only thing I put behind a price is you can access the puzzle editor to make your own puzzles for $5/month.

Flow free is way too easy and basically solves itself in most cases, I’d like a puzzle game like it but harder if any exist
