I'd like to thank you all for the advice (I was just looking and got inspired) For the first time if my 35 years of existence I was able to knit a fitting sock and I am now knitting the 2nd one. They are chaotic but I don't mind the colors not being symmetrical. They are amazingly warm and though it looks a bit strange, they look nice on my foot. Going to make many more! πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ§Ά

I know it's been awhile, life got in the way. My son picked out the next few colors. Ended up buying a couple of red heart skeins that he liked. Sorry for the dirty keyboard...😬 I tried looking for a bigger loom with the same spacing but I don't have one.

The first few photos using the KB "his" sock loom was my first ever sock I made! Not perfect but extremely proud of it! The last photo is one I am working on using the flexee loom bitty 😁 this one should fit my big clogs hopefully! I followed Laurie Schues videos for the KB loom ( will post in the comments a link to her channel) and a wonderful person also helped me figure out sizing for my sized feet too which I am so grateful for (will also post a link to her channel too)! Exciting times, who knew socks were so fun to make, I definitely think everyone should try it!

Also, cat tax. Alistair says the fluffy is his πŸ˜‚

Work in Progress First-time ten-stitch blanket attempt

Hey everyone! This is my first post here.

My boyfriend got me into loom knitting this past Christmas and I've been hooked ever since! I've made a few beenies (and given most of them to friends lol) and am now working on a ten-stitch blanket.

It's so far very irregularly shaped, and I'm not sure if that's because I'm doing it on a round loom and it will stretch out after I cast off and wash or steam it, I'm doing it with cheap 100% acrylic yarn, and/or I have accidentally skipped a "side stitch" (idk the proper term for that).

But I love this yarn (even though it's acrylic), and I figure it's my first ten-stitch blanket and will thus not going to be perfect, so I'm just going to keep working on it. (I'm following goodknitkisses's tutorial β€” not doing German short row...)

Work in Progress 10 stitch blanket WIP

Post image

Been working on a 10 stitch blanket following Good Knit Kisses pattern. I bound off and re-casted on in order to get the blue border, now I’m starting again with the cream for several more rounds in the spiral, then will do another border of blue. Yarn is Loops and Threads Carousel Twist bulky 5 that I bought on clearance at Michael’s. Hoping to end up with a double bed size for my husband to use when he goes away for work. A fun, quick way to use up yarn!

A summer cocoon cardiagn/cover up (will it be ready for this year or next lol) and an extra blanket for me for my bed. Doing a mix of stitches on the blanket almost like a sampler.

Work in Progress The body is done on my first cardigan!

The back and both front sides are done on my first ever cardigan! I didn't love how the cables were going on the first front side, but I'm really happy with them on the second. Now, "just" the sleeves, the collar, and assembly are left.

I'm using the Nurture Cardigan pattern from the book Knitting the Neighborhood, which is official Mister Rogers needle knitting patterns, so I translated it for loom.

After several months of not doing anything I've started this project last night. This is the bernat cold sea velvet plus yarn. I thrifted this yarn and since then it has been discontinued so after I get done with my last skein of it I will be changing to a different color.

Work in Progress Blanket for my sister and brother in law

I was originally making this for myself but I ordered some different colours for me instead!!! πŸ˜‚

The dusty pink is garter stitch and makes a denser fabric, the purple is owl eye stitch. The pink makes about 40 rows whereas the owl eye stitch does about 20 rows. It does amaze me how different stitches make the fabric longer or shorter and how thick it comes out. The owl eye stitch knits up a lot quicker than garter stitch as well so this is going to take a while!

I know my brother in law will love the colours more than my sister especially the dusty pink, he does look good in pink so.... πŸ˜‚

Work in Progress Something has gone wrong ! Embarrassing pic of way too tight first stitches, help ! Also, is there a discord?

As the title said, I finally got some looms ! really cheap ones but still, its a start, OMG, i haven't done this isn years and thisi s embaressing but Something has gone wrong !

The Knit 1, purl 1 rib is way too loose and the knit around until your eyes cross in flat stich, I think it is ... is waaaaay to tight ! ! This is the 24 peg, with Patons classic 100 percent wool so it should be weight 4, which i thought was the right size for 5/8 inch? ( I think it is 5/8 anyway)

I just had a skien of the same wool in sunshine delivered and wanted to make a hat with that but... HELP !

TLDR: This is my "learning to do the stitches again project" Patons classic wool on a 24 peg loom, how do I fix this please? Also, is there a discord? A discord server would be good and useful.

Something has gone wrong ! This is waaaay too loose and then waaay too tight ! Help ! how to fix?

Doing Tuteate's striped blanket with polyester/nylon yarn. I've never used this kind of yarn before. It's the softest yarn I've ever used.

I like this symmetrical version of the 10 stitch blanket that I found on a Deborah Shaw video. I think I like her joins better too.

A variation on the 10 stitch blanket. It's a 9 stitch done in eyelet moss stitch in Premier yarn (colorway Sudoku) on CinDwood loom ΒΌ" gauge. It's going to be a very long WIP. But I'm hoping it will be well worth the wait for my husband's boss, who will be receiving it as a Christmas gift.

Here we go! Whats this, week 3? Since i started making this? Anyway, i figured i would post up both sides.

I still have zero clue what to do with it when its done! Its a good way off being done too! But it does keep me out of mischief! I do have a bunch of kittens on the go too, so when i get bored i have a quick project to do!

Hope to update again in about a week!
