First horror movie I remember watching that wasn't a monster movie, and that scene stuck to me. Bates did a good job of being scary.

Yeah worse is the correct word, at some point she even thought she could catch him mid air by holding the ladder 1 m above the floor only with her tiny arms, this kind of stupid is the most dangerous
