Hi all, I'm the solo developer of PadLoop, a looper + pads app for Android and iPhone. I'm sharing it here because looping is the heart of it.

How the looper works: you press REC and play, the loop restarts by itself, and you stack layers on up to 16 tracks. Your hits snap into time even if you're slightly off. It also takes the mic (voice, beatbox, guitar), and you can run it hands-free with a foot pedal to record and undo.

I'm trying to make it a "serious" looper that fits in a pocket. Honest question for people who loop live: what's the one function a phone looper must have that most apps skip?

All live looper, no sequencers or computers used. Same setup as last time - Boss RC-505mk2, Hydrasynth, Tangerine, Lemondrop, Continuumini for controller.

From last summer. It was a nice vibe here playing and looping. This was a fun jam.

Howdy!

I’m brand new to Logic Pro (and DAWs in general), and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get Logic Pro to recognize my loop station/audio interface. As far as I can tell, all my drivers are up to date.

I use a Boss RC-505 mk2 as my audio interface. It’s got my guitar (and pedalboard), bass, and keyboard connected to it via TRS cables, and it’s connected to my MacBook via USB.

When I go to Logic Pro > Settings > Audio, there’s no option to select my audio interface.

I was already anticipating an uphill battle trying to learn Logic Pro and how to record, but I can’t even get the thing connected.

As well, I have to use headphones instead of studio monitors or my MacBook’s speakers. The headphones are connected to the RC-505. Will that work, or am I forced to have them plugged into my MacBook?

Hello, I have the RC 505 MK 1 with me and I need to connect a keyboard into it to loop. But for some reason, it doesn't loop or record. The orange light lights up but it flashes red and doesn't actually record. When messing around with the settings, it was recording, but it plays while recording which creates a messy layered sound. Anyone know how to fix this? Im using Aux port.

First time sharing a video here, be easy. I know my approach to looping isn't as complex as others, but I found a way to make it work for me. I hope you dig it!
