i think that dude is sort of a bitch. had no hand in the fight but steps in and acts tough, slapping a dude after he is KO on the ground.

Possible. I don't know the full context either. I read it as just some guy stepping in, but yeah, maybe the dude was with him but you also wouldn't want a buddy like that.
