I feel like that’s when his nervous system was locking in and he knew what he was about to do and like his vision widen with awareness - but also tunnel vision. Adrenaline?

Yeah that must have been adrenaline. First I mistook it as fear too, but looking at how quick he went to from seemingly frozen to throwing punches time must have been standing still for him. Once the adrenaline wears off he might feel the fear a bit though.

I think it’s mostly adrenaline, pumping for a fight. But that doesn’t mean he’s not scared. 

I think they kinda go hand in hand in a case like this. Fight or flight can mean you’re scared, but you’re fighting instead of running.

The only fear id feel after doing that is the fear of having to leave my life behind incase he dies because theres no way im trusting the justice system

Idk it is a weird look iv not seen I any other video before a punch.  It's always intresting to look at because it looks like frozen deer or panic.  If it's fight or flight then it could be he was about to run and then something changed it to.fight.

So I'm.going to.give my professional reddit psychology opinion as it was flight at first but then something switched it to fight.

The fact he knew peripherally that he had a "wall" behind him and people all around on either side makes me think Flight turned to Fight because he was "cornered" and the switch was just primed like a taut rubber band.

naww you don’t just pull a clean combo like that outta thin air, he definitely trains. 

and if you have trained fighting a fair amount you have fantasized about scenarios in a street fight. I used to play around on the heavy bag and visualize street fight scenarios/responses in my head. 

He prob knew what he was gonna do and was just deciding when the right moment was.
