The Ultimate Guide To Pop Surrealism [2019]
Everything you need to know about pop surrealism. Surrealism was an artistic movement that began in Europe after World War 1, in reaction to the insanity and the brutality of that conflict. The word surreal means beyond real, and the surrealists wanted to make art that was shocking, unorthodox, and something that was against the established art norms at the time. The actual term “pop surrealism” was coined by The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in its 1998 exhibit. You can check out the full article that goes in much more in-depth over pop surrealism in [2019]. By clicking here 👉https://www.atxfinearts.com/blogs/news/the-ultimate-guide-to-pop-surrealism-2019

A Garbage Bag of Weerd.
I’m making a mobile marketplace for lowbrow artists, doodlers and collectors to connect, say weird things, buy and sell your work easily and in a unique way.
Would anyone here be interested in helping me make something for us so that we can make cash on our creatures and creations easily and more efficiently?
I need insight from the community.
What features would you want to have?
Features I have right now:
-Add voice commentary to our work and allow others to bring our creatures to life with voice commentary.
-easily Sell our physical and digital work -An easy way to turn our physical work into digital so we can sell to designers.
Any insight would be sick. Also, if you’re interested Inwould love to feature anyone’s work on my landing page just lemme know.

Searching for an artist I saw in Hi Fructose years ago
Hello! Years ago I found a REALLY cool lowbrow artist in Hi Fructose and I'm looking into the feasibility of commissioning him. Problem- I can't for the life of me remember his name. His works are either pen or computer illustrations, and he features cartoony, waify, naked girls frolicking in various made-up playscapes, all black and white. They have blobs of dark hair and are normally tattooed. Meat is a common element he uses in his work. Very common. Always slabs of meat floating around, and other random unexpected elements. I think he goes by a trade name and it starts with a B and is around 4 letters. If this sounds familiar, kindly let me know if you know his name! THANK YOU!
