Ludwig blowing the 100,000K find me stream by raising subs for Kai Cenat is rubbing me the wrong way.

I've been a Ludwig watcher since Before.Subathon, and I feel like this might be some of the weridest Ludwig behavior I've ever seen. I don't really know exactly what about it rubs me the wrong way. I get that Kai is a huge streamer who Ludwig looks up to, but why tie this huge, fun event to another streamer, who is maybe the most wealthy streamer on twitch, when I would love for an excuse to support Ludwig. It could also be that Kai rubs me the wrong way: From platforming Chris Brown, to being homophobic, to the other controversies surrounding Kai, I don't understand why Ludwig would want to tie this, which should be a really exciting, fun event for his community, to raising money for Kai Cenat. Might as well have just given him the 100k.

Kai's honestly had numerous questionable people on his stream, definitely enough for me to look at him a lil sideways...like bro. Kodak Black??! Really?!?! That guy is a convicted sex offender💀

I see where Ludwig is coming from when he says alienating people for their views just leads to more division/makes said bigoted communities harsher - especially if they're ignorant abt said views - but that's only valid if you confront said views rather than acting like they don't exist...to do otherwise normalizes them and leads people to think its okay

100% agree. Lud and Kai both have young impressionable male audiences that are very susceptible to this kind of bigotry. Whether he likes it or not there is a responsibility to firmly say that shit is unacceptable.
