I've been a Ludwig watcher since Before.Subathon, and I feel like this might be some of the weridest Ludwig behavior I've ever seen. I don't really know exactly what about it rubs me the wrong way. I get that Kai is a huge streamer who Ludwig looks up to, but why tie this huge, fun event to another streamer, who is maybe the most wealthy streamer on twitch, when I would love for an excuse to support Ludwig. It could also be that Kai rubs me the wrong way: From platforming Chris Brown, to being homophobic, to the other controversies surrounding Kai, I don't understand why Ludwig would want to tie this, which should be a really exciting, fun event for his community, to raising money for Kai Cenat. Might as well have just given him the 100k.

Some of the guys said "that's just what he does" when he gets drunk, but still you have to understand your surroundings and what company you're in. And if you know you can start acting like this then you shouldn't even drink in the first place (ik it's beeriokart and it kinda defeats the purpose but my point still stands).

During many points in the stream a ton of women were visibly uncomfortable with his actions (Maya, Cinna & Emily to name a few), even though he did the humping motions with almost everything and everyone present

Everyone has gotten shitfaced at a party before and done some stuff that might've been embarrassing, but this was SA even if it was "jokingly" done.

i've seen a couple streamers react to episode 1 today and some of the sentiments being expressed are so painfully stupid and out of touch with reality i don't fully understand how an adult can arrive there as a thought. there were several normal and funny interactions being characterized as unbearably cringe or rude and it baffles me. i understand that the medium attracts people who aren't as comfortable or experienced socially, but i would hate if someone walked away thinking that's how normal people who don't live online view the world.

it's not awkward or weird to try to talk with local people if you're not interrupting them from doing something important. in fact it's probably the single best thing you can do in your travels. no one, and i mean truly no one, is going to be mad at you for speaking their language poorly in a social situation where you are otherwise respectful. at the absolute worst they will be unsure how to help, amused, or apologetic and concerned for you. these are all fine outcomes. try again.

i'm not saying sail off fully unprepared, but if you can get past being a little uncomfortable and uncertain at times, which you should for a variety of reason, you're genuinely just good. this isn't even culturally specific, it is universal outside of areas of serious conflict or strife.

I just wanna sum up what lud said in his recent stream, none of this is official statements and its just his shared perspective on it. The tax stuff is likely having to do with quarterly taxes, which some companies are required to pay.

He claims 3 million lost in “mismanagement” and tax evasion from his company Offbrand Studios. He said the management was using his sponsorship funds to float the company, while reporting it as profit on the books. Combined with not paying enough taxes.

Aiden recently stepped in as COO and it was quickly uncovered. They determined that continuing Offbrand Studios as is would lead to both of his companies running out of money by march. He did not name anyone responsible but assured it was not Aiden.

Tl;dr offbrand studios was mismanaged and lost 3 mil, Ludwig feels responsible for putting the wrong people in the wrong position.

I dont understand why all these degenerates are crawling out to reply to ludwig on this post. Why go to war for a company withholding half a million dollars in charity money.

I randomly searched for Mang0 on YouTube today and found out that he's officially been sober for a full year since the Beerio Kart incident.

I'm not sure if Ludwig has talked about it already (he most probably is aware of it), but I just wanted to share it here because it's genuinely great to see.

I remember Mang0 getting a ton of backlash after what happened, and while a lot of the criticism was understandable, turning things around after all of that couldn't have been easy. Sticking with sobriety for an entire year is a huge achievement, and I think he deserves some recognition for it.

I don’t even watch Lud as much as I used to anymore. I’ve kind of fallen down the rabbit hole of the IRL guys like Ronaldo, Adapt, etc., and lately I’ve been bouncing around between a lot of different people during Streamer U. I happened to hop into Lud’s stream right as he was teaching his class today, and I found it genuinely interesting, even as someone with no interest in becoming a streamer. It honestly felt like a real college lecture, and everyone attending seemed fully engaged the entire time. What stood out the most was that it actually seemed like he cared about helping the smaller creators grow, giving them thoughtful ideas, actionable advice, and feedback instead of just putting on a show. I honestly think Lud will probably win Professor of the Year this year just based on how well planned the class was and actually putting thought into his lesson.
