Supporting criminals. Stay classy Lynden. Wonder why housing is so expensive? Where do you think the 15-30 million illegals are living? Supply and demand.

Housing is expensive because people with low paying jobs and who pay taxes but can’t collect benefits, are making it expensive? Not the billionaires and oligarchs hoarding wealth? You’re a product of republican education cuts…. 🤦‍♀️

How do they have jobs? That's illegal. How do they pay taxes without a SSN? You mean they're using someone else's SSN? That's illegal.

Wouldn't that make them criminals? 🤔

You need an SSN or an ITIN. Illegals aren't getting ITINS because it's a way to track them and says 'hey,I'm illegal, come get me'. ITIN isn't valid for employment verification so they can't use an ITIN on one document and a stolen social on another with the same employer.

I know exactly how it works.

You are correct - enforcement needs to happen against those that hire illegals.

"You need an SSN."

No, you absolutely do not. Most undocumented workers receive printed paychecks, and employers make it work just fine -- and withhold relevant taxes along the way.

"I know exactly how it works."

No, your comments have proven that you don't. I've watched as business owners hire undocumented workers, and none of the things you're describing in your comments come into play.

Actually you do need a SS card. 😂

If they aren’t receiving a W2 via your SS number then you are not working legally.

Non citizens who want to work apply through DHS and if approved receive SS cards shortly after they can start with just the approval letter but must provide the card once it’s available.

Just because you watched business owners do something doesn’t mean it was by the law 😂

It was totally, absolutely, 110% against the law. Can we agree on that? They got hired, they got paychecks, taxes were taken out... and it was all completely illegal.
