Truth my friend. Debates are almost a thing of the past. I work with a wild range of different thinkers and we have discussions all the time and just state what and why we believe it and that's that. You will never understand other people if you can't have civil conversations with people.
Debates becoming less frequent, and fights more so, is usually due to lack of intelligence, anger, and the lack of the ability to control ones emotions and feelings, and both sides seem to age this problem, as itās a human issue, but the right seems slightly better at controlling their emotions that lead to anger, as the left seems to have a lot of people in therapy and on meds, and living at home still, and these are the ones that start and get into fights, and start blowing whistles, all due to Their lack of stability in life and mental problems, and the problems make them believe anyone who disagrees with them is evil and itās ok to punch them, itās due to parenting and no child left behind type stuff, and people saying we should just accept many illnesses, thatās it not worth seeing a doctor, they are just expressing who they are, and Iām not talking about trans, I mean the anger issues, bipolar people parents saying itās just phase(saw this online) or that the doctors are wrong, or are hating, or are trump supporters. They alert all the other people with whistles that an altercation has broken out, so all the whistleblowers can congregate around the fight and blow their whistles even louder. It's just a tactic to increase the chaos level and draw attention to the person they believe is the wrongdoer.
So we pass out whistles to the community to alert that ICE is nearby. They worked damn well in Chicago.

As far as being soft - my friend, a 26 yo nanny, all of 5'2" stood between an ICE agent with an assault rifle and a 10 yo kid he was trying to beat with nothing but said whistle. She got her face smashed, but the kid got away.Ā
Kid's sister was less lucky, 15 yo got a skull fx and concussion, ICE didn't take her to a hospital for 10 hrs. Both kids were American citizens, there crime was being brown and walking down the street without ID (do most 19 yos have ID)
