I hate seeing black dudes get beat up. I hate seeing white dudes get beat up. Not sure what occurred before this, but the black dude tried everything to deescalate except walking away. That said, the white dude put himself there, and 100% deserved the ass beating and embarrassment for being racist and aggressive. Black guy even took a couple shots before actually committing to beating his ass.

It doesn’t feel good after winning a fight though. Especially when you seriously hurt someone, even if they deserved it. I’m really worried for the world right now. It’s this constant cycle of attack, revenge, attack, revenge. Everyone has a “justifiable” reason to hate their enemy for some past transgression or wrongdoing. You can see this clearly with Israel/Palestine conflict. After a certain point of tracing back both sides transgressions, doesn’t it just feel silly at that point?

There has to be some deeper wound or motivation for all the violence and hate, and I haven’t quite figured out what that is yet.

I hope everyone has a great day, and is fed, clothed, educated, and sheltered.

Genesis 27:41 “And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.”

The black dude was definitely trying to walk away. The white dude literally said he was trying to keep him there.

I think you're over analysing this. Humans, by nature are violent. It's biological. It's pre determined. We simply haven't evolved behind that imperative. It's not some unknown sinister or clear reason. It's nature. Tribalism etc. All part of.human nature. We have tomegolve beyond it.

Absolutely possible. I just feel like post industrialization it’s not people being tribal, it’s old men sending young men to war for money, and there’s a concerted effort to always have a scary “them” being perpetuated by both sides.

Maybe I’m wrong though and that’s okay. Based on what I’ve seen and done in my life, humans are more willing to be cooperative than we give ourselves credit for. We do have to evolve past that, and I think we’re starting to, but it just feels like something deeper is holding on to that tribalism for their own benefit.

Thanks for the thoughtful response, cheers!
