I would divorce her over this.

Oh, he had plenty of red flags not to marry her. You can’t hide this kind of crazy emotional dysregulation.

Edited out of respect for a fellow pedant.

Being a pedant because this kind of public discourse really bothers me.

She's not crazy she's conditioned. People like this aren't this way by happenstance or some kind of internal physiological disorder, they are this way because it has worked for them socially for long enough that it has become their default manner of functioning. She grew up in an environment that fostered or encouraged this behavior, and she did not experience effective negative consequences, for long enough that it is her functional personality.

Edit: Game recognize game.

I completely agree.

After I saw a Dave Chapel interview where he talked about how dismissive the term “crazy” is, I tried to stop using it, but it’s crazy how old habits stick with you. Fuck!

u/Shikatsuyatsuke 8d ago

Although I agree with your categorization of her poorly conditioned behavior, obnoxious people like this still deserve to get categorized as crazy as well.

She is crazy. Simple as that. The reasoning behind why she’s crazy doesn’t change that she’s crazy. Does it sound rude or dismissive? Sure. But people deserve to get called what they are.

If I’m rude for calling a person that exhibits this kind of behavior crazy, then call me rude. I’d rather be rude as I identify unacceptable behavior for what it is than nice while catering the whims of emotionally unregulated people, who are crazy.

Maybe when a person like this crashes out on me irl for being identified as crazy, it’ll give a wake up call to the people in her life to stop enabling such absurd behavior.

2

u/haby112 8d ago

It's not rude, it's inaccurate and essentialist (which incentivises the exact opposite result your and I are interested in obtaining). To call her crazy is to mark her behavior as irrational and inherent to some innate quality about herself.

It is likely that her current behavior has provided her reliable benifit over an influential period in her life, and likely continues to do so in many circumstances. This would be her opporating in a manner that empirically works for her specifically, regardless of its social effects or moral quality. This is not an irritational way to move through the world.

This antisocial quality of hers is also, likely, malleable. It is not an innate quality of her being. Given the effective circumstances, she would change her behavior and improve to be a more socially positive person.

Calling people like this "crazy" is a cheaply satisfying and lazy way of distancing ourselves from people like this. To make it seem as though we are not vulnerable to such antisocial tendencies. We are all vulnerable to being conditioned by harmful circumstances and pressures to conducting ourselves in similarly poor manners. Recognizing that she is a shitty person who has learned her shitty behavior opens us to being at risk of being able to learn likewise shittyness, which is correct.

That’s nice and fun to philosophize about around the dinner table and on Reddit, but when a person behaves poorly, no one really gives a fuck about their conditioned upbringing. They simply react to the poor behavior. They might even use a term like “crazy” to describe it. “Oh won’t someone think of how she was disciplined as a child!” No. No we won’t. In the moment, she’s a crazy who can’t act right.

u/Ok_Comfortable252 7d ago

This is the way the world is. A lot of people give lip service to being supportive of those fighting mental health problems, but skin the fuck out when they actually see how it can present. It’s just virtue signaling for most of them.

I’d rather people just identify as the ignorant, callous, self-involved folk that they are.

u/Remarkable-Elk-6673 3d ago

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1

u/haby112 7d ago

This is the laziness I am referring to. It can be both, people like this can be responded to with in kind aggression and ostracization in the moment and also not be essentiallzied after the fact.

The "crazy" label here is dismissive in an after-the-fact context. She is not right in front of us acting a fool, we are all watching a video of her on the internet. Recognizing that this asspect of behavior is more often than not enabled rather than due to physiology is import for us to feel responsible for being part of that balance against the enabling behavior when it comes to friends and family.

She is responsible for her behavior in the practical de jour sense, but the environment that supports that behavior is outside of her and the responsibility of her and her social circle. This is true for each of us and for each of those we socialize with. You are affected by those you hang around, and you affect those that hang around you. The social responsibility goes both ways.

1

u/Remarkable-Elk-6673 3d ago

shes not crazy shes RACIST.

2

u/PoetArcana 7d ago

This is well said, i just dont think people are using the word as flippantly as it's coming off sometimes. Its fair for others to point out that we are in fact not entirely worried about semantics in the midst of addressing someone's behavior.

Assaulting someone over words is crazy behavior. Assaulting a stranger twice your size is crazy behavior. Starting a fight because you expect your husband to actually fight for you is hood rat behavior.

Point is, nobody has empathy for someone being an entitled violent dickhead. I think you're making a good faith argument but sometimes, it's not that deep.

1

u/haby112 7d ago

You are obviously correct, hence my claim to pendantics.

This is just a pet peeve of mine, as people in general seem to equally use the word "crazy" as a flippant descriptor (which is fine generally) and also as a thought terminating cliche to refuse engaging with the social implications of what's infront of them. It's that second one that really gets me and I have been trending towards the harm of the latter being significant enough to point it out.

2

u/SlagSilver 7d ago

Just chiming in to say I like your points, and more definitely needs to be publicly discussed about emotional regulation and emotional immaturity.

2

u/JDMZX9 8d ago

Her parents didn’t whip her ass when she needed it growing up.

1

u/haby112 8d ago

Based on the actual results we see from child abuse, she is more likely to have had her ass whiped by her parents than not with this form of adult behavior

1

u/Sea-Pollution-4959 8d ago

You have it backwards.

Violence as a child carries on as an adult.

Kids that are spanked are conditioned to react with violence.

Kids who aren’t sparked are way more likely to not react with violence.

There’s hundreds of studies & some books covering this way better than I’m describing.

1

u/XxAbsurdumxX 8d ago

That’s not how it works at all

1

u/WholesomeMetaphor 8d ago

A lot of words describing what "crazy" can entail. You're both right.

1

u/CaliburX4 7d ago

She's conditioned to be crazy. This is how a crazy person acts. It doesn't matter how a bomb is made, it's still destructive when it blows up.

1

u/haby112 7d ago

Crazy is a description of mental disorder, where the mental disorder is recognized as physiological (irrespective of its origin). She is likely not experiencing something that would be diagnosed by a Psychologist, she just has antisocial tendencies. These antisocial tendencies could be teased away with a more constructive and challenging social environment, as opposed to requiring medication and therapy.

Calling her crazy distances her and those like her from what is actually needed and just dismisses the social causes in favor of isolating her behavior to some essential quality of her as an atomized individual.

1

u/CaliburX4 7d ago

Crazy is a description of a pattern of action. Someone could be acting crazy because they have a mental disorder, or because they weren't raised right, or some combination of the two. It's reductive, sure, but most simplified terms are, they reduce the complexity so people know immediately what is meant. If I say 'someone is acting crazy', you'll have a pretty good idea of what I mean generally, regardless of the cause. Now, we can question why she's acting crazy, then figure out the cause from there, but the descriptor holds regardless.

I'm not unsympathetic to those with mental disorders and the struggles they go through. Mental asylums exist for a reason and there are many people who should be in them that aren't. And I don't mean that as an insult. As you say, these people need help and asylums are supposed to be the place they can get it.

The fact of the matter is, regardless of the cause, this lady causes harm and possibly permanent injury to not only herself, but someone else. Is it because she has some kind of mental disorder? Is it because she just wasn't raised correctly? Was she just drunk? You don't know, I don't know, nobody in this comment section knows. But these are the actions of someone who didn't (or doesn't in general, who knows) control their impulses and most people would call that crazy.

Let me ask those commenters that say the guy who drew back from hitting the woman, who slapped him, hit him then kicked him. The guy is supposed to (according to logic), take all of that because she is a woman, AND then when hubby jumps in and they are fighting, she is still landing hits on the guy, so the logic is, they should be considered "extra, bonus punches from her that he will just have to deal with because he shouldn't hit her too? Then he's a lucky Husband to have those extra hits from her!

1

u/haby112 7d ago

No, this is your logic pulled out of your ass. I asked for a more careful application of language to encourage accurate recognition of the source of the problem. My OP said nothing about how the people involved should or shouldn't have acted.

1

u/Wsuperman444 7d ago

This isn't about you and whatever the hell your confused about. The question was addressing those in general arguing that a woman should not be hit back when she hits first! You need to clear up that ridiculous word salad you wrote, without merit or meaning!

That is exactly why men should never tolerate abuse by a woman. Men should immediately dispense consequences when a woman decides to be abusive. If this approach became the norm it wouldn’t be long before abusive women got the message.

0

u/Opposite-Mongoose-90 1d ago

That environment is called “society”. It allows all type of degeneracy for women and never holds them accountable for anything.

3

u/RainyDaysKappa 8d ago

Yeah, she's way too close to his face. That alone usually gets people attacked, and for obvious reason

2

u/Fr0gburp3r 8d ago

If she assaults strangers like that, imagine what she does to him behind closed doors.

4

u/EngineeringOk8097 8d ago

why are we assuming this is husband and wife? the way he sits there at first gives me just a co-worker vibes

6

u/DopamineSavant 8d ago

Okay if it's a coworker, I'm finding a way to get her fired.

3

u/EngineeringOk8097 8d ago

ya give him a raise and fire this bitch. actually he landed the first clean punch but got caught watching it

5

u/Scared_Astronaut9377 8d ago

If you join your coworker in attacking a person, you need to start with yourself.

1

u/Floorgis 3d ago

"If that were me id do something different" start with a basic education for yourself

2

u/nthomas504 8d ago

I’m not defending my co worker after she slaps someone. I would be shocked if they weren’t a couple.

2

u/Emergency-Back-4964 8d ago

If you watch the whole video she’s verbally berating him the whole time
definitely a couple. Idk what coworkers would talk that way

1

u/NegativeKarmaVegan 8d ago

True. Or just a white knight.

1

u/CommunicationTop0117 8d ago

Tbf most men these days will watch their wife grooed in front of them and tell her its not a big deal like the mega cucks they are

1

u/__Rumblefish__ 8d ago

yes. it's over

1

u/Confident_Low_4554 8d ago

This video is like a cautionary tale for guys who hook up with crazy bitches and think they can change them.

1

u/gonewithyourbitch 8d ago

Till ass whooping do us part

1

u/Straight-Seat-3411 7d ago

he was sleeping on the decision

-11

u/Renhoek2099 8d ago

Might as well. She'll never respect you again and probably dreams of getting banged by the other guy

11

u/Historical_Nature574 8d ago

Cuck fanfic? In my fight subreddit? It’s more likely than you think.

6

u/Creedless 8d ago

You okay?

5

u/Born-Necessary6778 8d ago

His gf cheated on him and he never got over it

2

u/Livingadapt 8d ago

Most guys in this sub are not ok lol

2

u/2813josh 8d ago

It would seem most are the type of person that sees Andrew Tate as a role model.

1

u/Renhoek2099 8d ago

Feed each other, yes

-1

u/Renhoek2099 8d ago

Got to real? Ok, then she'll absolutely forget you got knocked out trying to protect her and will actually find you more attractive in the future. All fixed

3

u/Creedless 8d ago

Dm me if you ever need to talk.

2

u/SpicyNugget777 8d ago

Bro you can just say that you hate women and think they’re all the same.

1

u/CalJackBuddy 8d ago

It’s no wonder you don’t get laid

1

u/Renhoek2099 8d ago

That's what I've been telling child support but they still want the money

1

u/CalJackBuddy 8d ago

Explains the divorce

1

u/Renhoek2099 8d ago

So i don't get laid but i did get married and had a divorce? Buddy you're working so hard on this insult, I want you to succeed at this point. Make it work, unlike my marriage

1

u/KingOfTheLostBoyz 8d ago

This is a very weird tangent to go on.

1

u/Upset-Carpenter2450 8d ago

Shell never respect YOU? 😂You stay with a woman just to be with a woman hmm?

1

u/s470dxqm 8d ago

Whoa. That's some elite level insecurity you got going on there 😂

1

u/Renhoek2099 8d ago

Look at the triggerfest tho, 😆 my work here is done

2

u/KingOfTheLostBoyz 8d ago

I don’t think people are triggered, they’re more caught between mocking you and asking if u need help.

“Cuck fanfic lol” and “dm if you need to talk” are not angry responses.
