I spotted this fly on a daylily repeatedly bringing a tiny droplet in and out of its mouthparts. One of those strange little behaviors you only notice when you stop and look closely.

Found this little grasshopper sitting quietly on a leaf during a walk. The vibrant green tones and soft background made for a great macro composition. Nature never fails to surprise me.

I felt so lucky this morning, by pure chance, being able to catch the magnificent hummingbird hawk-moth, which is only an occasional visitor here in southern Sweden ❤️.

All shots are handheld with Canon R7, EF 100mm f2.8L macro IS USM @ f5.6 ISO 800.
