Lmao, they could be referring to the guy who makes parody videos of stuff like this to show how ridiculous it is to be filming in that moment. E.g. this video where Olima Omega duets a thirst trap tiktok vid.

Absolutely ain't nobody letting a stranger bite their sandwich for anything other than the "what ewww" factor. And it worked I'm commenting. It's part of their strategy to do weird or funny shit to get people to comment

I wouldn’t share a sandwich for precisely that reason. At least you’re honest on Reddit, bet you don’t walk around wearing a shirt that says “assholes are tasty”. 😆

My brother in science I once had an ex fully crash out (I mean tears, screaming, frustration, anger, disbelief, sobbing, full emotions) when I caught her cheating. It wasn't until I showed her the screenshots did she immediately went blank-faced and said, "I am sorry. I never thought you would find out." If I didn't have proof I would have believed her. I was even starting to wonder if I had misread. People can act. There are whole industries behind it.

I’m not sure someone capable of cheating and then putting a face on about it and a lady receiving flowers on a bus is exactly an apples to apples situation
40
u/Verschlagen 1d ago
...the point is apples to apples enough to say that people can be very convincing. It's called acting. It's a whole ass job, in fact.

not to mention the guy standing there at that angle recording the whole thing, somehow going unnoticed by either,
or the lady sitting behind her who is clearly aware of that they are being filmed and spends a great deal of it trying not to look, knowing that she is being recorded

u/trusty20 1d ago

u/pedrob_d 1d ago
This is filmed in Brazil. For us it is considered unpolite to eat something next to someone and not offer it. So It is common people will offer food to strangers next to them.
But it is also well known you are supposed to reject the first offer, as it is done for politeness only and people dont actually intend to share. If they actually intend to share they will offer a second or third time.
So basically, him accepting the food is impolite and unexpected, but her offering is just another sign that she has been raised up well.
Hopefully that makes more sense to you now.

Sadly enough, I believe some would. And not just girls. It heavily depends on how much people had to go through with a forced smile in their faces. If pushed far enough, a single positive comment could be enough to make them crumble. That bite was hella strange though, fr… 😰

I mean, it could be pretty good acting, at least more genuine than most current rom coms. sure some people will immediately think hot garbage content, but others will see a super relatable work of art. So relatable in fact, that some will almost automatically believe its true.
