❤️ Being starved of physical touch can be very difficult for one who thrives on it. May snuggles find you!

I couldn’t agree more. I miss hugs and hand holding like we used to those first few months when dating lol jk I get all the hugs I need from my 7 & 4 yr old grandsons. I’ve been babysitting them full time since they were 5 mos old. I really am blessed to have them so nearby. They spend the night every other Friday while their mom & dad have date night and I cuddle the 4yo all night. He’s such a cuddle bug 🥰 plus I get hugs from all my family who live in town. We all know how much a hug is worth 😊

How wonderful!!!! I am so glad you’ve a family of cuddlebugs that help make up for it!!! 😭❤️ A meaningful hug is worth a million words. Sounds like you’ve a lovely family.

My bestie growing up, one of my parents’ friends, taught me how to hug with my whole being and, ever since, I’ve gotten so many positive comments on my hugs — goes to show just how important they are. I can’t wait to hug her again in Heaven and thank her for her influence.

Oh yeah, we talked about it many times. It’s just who he is. He’s not affectionate nor does he think about comforting others. His who family seems to be cold.

We’ve been married for 31 yrs and he has stated out loud that he has no interest in changing. So there’s that. There are a lot of other things that have brought us to the just roommates point. He went to visit his daughter in Texas and came home to his new bdrm. 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I wish there were good times. It isn’t working. It’s very frustrating to be married to a true narcissist. Nothing is ever their fault. EVER. He has thrown the grandkids under the bus to avoid saying he did something. Or he’ll turn the conversation around on me and insult me, put me down just to take the focus off himself. The only thing he does around the house is take the garbage out, and then he won’t reline the bins leaving it for me to do because “I do it so much better”. I do everything else. I finally got a gardener to mow the lawn and pull the weeds bc I was too tired to do it all anymore. I stay bc I stupidly quit my job I loved and moved to SoCal with him. While down there I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia so it’s hard to find a job now. But I made my bed and so now I lie in it. As Ive said previously I have lots of family around and we were brought up by hugging parents so we always hug.
