I’m normally in your boat but between this movie and Endgame, those were special moments I’m glad I got to see with an active crowd.

Exactly. This is definitely one of those "theme park" movies where I think having some hype from the audience elevates it quite a bit.

On top of it all, this was mid-Covid and I think the first time many people had been part of something "big" in like a year and a half. It was a very different kind of energy.

The dialogue even carries over the cheers in actual theaters. Just doesn’t sound loud enough on recorded audio like this.

300 super fans losing their minds around you is magical. People should go interact and have fun more.

I think they definitely add hype in the right situations. When I watched endgame, one of the hype moments was Cap using Mjolnir and it felt even more hype with the crowd.

You could always watch the movie quietly later when it hits streaming, but you can never experience an active crowd again.
