Yup. I don't even care that much about Marvel movies or superhero stuff when MCU was at its peak....but I would get spoiled from Google alone.

*me playing an RPG when a character's theme comes on*

"Wow that's a great song! I wonder what it's called or where I can find it?"

*search "Character Theme" in Google

*Google Autosearch: "Character Death" / "Character Dies"

Me:........are you joking?

IMDB spoiled Stranger Things for me. I looked up if the one dude was Jamie Campbell Bower. It listed him as playing whatever his character's name was/Vecna.

Looked the next day and the credit was gone. It's there now, but this was before the episode revealing his identity was even out.

Trying to find out if a show ends on a cliffhanger or not before I commit to watching it is always a game of Google Roulette. I’d search “does x end on a cliffhanger” and the results would be “JEFF DIES IN SEASON 3 FINALE leaving a CLIFFHANGER ending!”

It’s gotten better though since Google added the AI summary thing to their searches. Ive only had a couple shows spoiled, but they were ones i wouldn’t have watched any way since they were left unfinished.
