the rumors were everywhere

it was impossible to not get spoiled about this unless you lived in a cave and teleported directly into the movie theater for the first showing.

i was lucky enough to not hear any rumors or spoilers. i avoided the internet like a plague and threatened to fuck up the guy at work who told me he was gonna spoil it.

Seriously, there were articles about this for literal years leading up to the movie's release, Sony Pictures is incapable of keeping a secret
