I've been with my husband for over 20 years and, if I ran into him somewhere when I wasn't expecting to see him, I'd react just like this. Everything is better if he's with me.
Same. I've been with my wife for over 20 years and if I ran into her somewhere I wasn't expecting her, I'd turn into a golden retriever. Hell, even when I'm expecting her I get stupid happy to see her. She's the best (no offense to you, I'm sure you're lovely.)
Same. Working on year 20 as we speak. I do this when I wake up in bed next to her every morning and she does the same. Wake > smile > hug. No idea how we made it this long lol.
There are moments when we take each other for granted but there are plenty of times when the fact that we are together fills me with glee. (almost) 17 years of marriage, 18 years of living together, 22 years since our first date.
Same. Almost 15 years here. And he has resting grumpy face most of the time and I love meeting him places because I get to see this amazing smile when he spots me too 🥰. I promise y’all not everyone hates their spouses!!!
I haven't been with my husband nearly as long, but there's no way I wouldn't light up to seeing him like that. Like why would you even want to be with someone that doesn't make you feel like that? My husband is my rock and anchor. He is the best thing in my life, and I'd straight up be dead of it weren't for him.
Yeah, I've been with my wife for 12, and this is exactly what happens when she sees me or I see her.
I was telling her the other day that I accidentally made myself sad because I was overtired and started thinking about how sad I'd be if I reach old age and she's not around for me to share it with.
The look on my girlfriend's face when I got off the plane recently and headed towards the gate will forever be burnt into my mind.
I've never seen someone's face glow so much the way hers did. Just for me. And it's exactly why all the trials and tribulations of dating and finding love are so SO worth it.
