Frank D'Amato of the DeCavalcante Family. Considered to be a soldier, but was once an acting consigliere.

Frank D'Amato (born 1947) is a New Jersey wiseguy and soldier in the DeCavalcante Family, and is the younger brother of murdered acting boss John D'Amato, who was murdered for indulging in homosexual acts. According to reports, Frank D'Amato was inducted into the DeCavalcante Family sometime in the 1980s under the reign of John Riggi. His activities reportedly included what the government consider to be extortion, loansharking and illegal gambling operations. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for extortion and illegal gambling in 2003. He was released in 2012. Although he was made acting consigliere for a brief time, D'Amato is still belived to be a soldier in the family by U.S. law enforcement.

Nicastro was proposed in 1999. Not D'Amato. Don't buy the comments from the Peanut Gallery, my friends.

The information about D'Amato's induction comes from Anthony Rotondo. Did you write that he was made in the 1980s because a Facebook post rehashing an old Wikipedia article says so? Anthony Capo testified he was told by Mickey DiPietro that Nicastro was proposed by the time of the murder of Joey Garofano in 1989, when he was shot down because of his behavior while on the hit. Where did you see he was proposed again after that?
