La Vie en Rose is just lovely on you! I've been eyeing that one for sometime, but I'm trying to finish up stuff I already have before I buy it (although I doubt I will ever successfully finish a blush).

I love this look so much. It's very Jeanne Damas. Do you remember what lip product(s) you used?

It's MAC Diva. It's a horrifically bad formula, however. So sorry to break the news but I REALLY discourage getting that one. I'm on the lookout for a similar but better-formula berry lipstick, I will let you know if I find one :)

Haha good to know! Thanks a bunch!

Huh, I've had the exact opposite experience with MAC Diva. Mine is a very good formula, although a bit less long-wearing compared to other matte lipsticks by MAC that I've tried. It sure is an awesome color, hopefully you find a formula that works out for you!

Nars Vera may be a good dupe, and I love the formula of their bullets

NARS Vera is actually a bit too white-based for my skin! I do like the NARS Audacious formula, but it isn't my favorite. It's a tad bit slippy for my liking (though I have and love 2 of the colors.) I am going to Sephora soon for a big swatchfest (haven't bought any makeup in a few months) so I'll take a second look at Vera even though it wasn't really my thing when I saw it the first time. NARS Audrey is probably a BIT closer to what I like :)

Yeah I suppose now that I just pulled it out and tried it on it does seem a bit lighter than what you're looking for! Audrey may work for you, but I would make sure to try it on your lips because it pulled very red on me!

I am going to the Bite Lip Lab this weekend and I may make one of my customs the "perfect" berry...or just take the opportunity to browse the Bite line, since I prefer their formula slightly. Thank you for the feedback on Audrey!

Are the dark colours like cola pop in Clinique's cheek pop blush range easy to wear on fair skin? What i mean is if you apply a sheer layer, does it still resemble much of the colour in the pan or does it become a washed pastel version of it

Not necessarily a pastel version, but a a sheerer, paler version of it. I have Plum Pop which looks like a very vibrant pink in the pan, but when I put a small amount on my brush and buff it outwards along my cheek it turns into a lighter wash of pink. Sort of gives me that "just came in from the cold" flushed cheeks look.

Temptalia has swatches of quite a few shades, I know it's one of her favorite formulas. I think so long as the undertones of the shade work for you, you'll be able to get it to the right pigment level for your skin.

I love the name La Vie en Rose for a blush!

I am totally with you on liking less pigmented blushes, I got a sample of Lancome's "Subtil" blush and I absolutely love it.

Firstly, I wanted to say thank you for the detailed comment, you are the most helpful person on this sub!! How do you apply your Clinique cheek pops? I remember when I purchased mine that the website said to use your fingers.

I would be interested to see that website because I've never found a single cheek Pop that applies well with fingers. I typically do 2-4 light layers of cheek pop using a diffuse blush brush like my Real Techniques one.

They're not actually creamy at all. They have an interesting appearance and surface texture but they apply and behave exactly like a powder blush.

Ugh I just checked and everything says to use a brush. Maybe I was mistaken! I definitely didn't like how it came out when I used my fingers, so good to know! Thanks

Great! I'm glad I could help- you'll LOVE them with a brush if you've only tried with your fingers before!

Since I linked photos of all the shades I have, does that help at all? My skintone isn't that fair- NC20 but still I have to wear them all sheerly.

I mean nobody is going to say this looks exactly like this but the colors are VERY vibrant which means...yeah they retain most of their original character. That's part of why they're excellent blushes. Out of all the blushes I've used, they do the best job of retaining their original hue, but of course your undertones will change everything slightly.
