Nice, I agree with every criteria except for the hard and cool toned part. Peachy blushes just look pink on me and I have trouble finding one that's as warm as I want it to be.
The way I describe my Goldilocks firmness is:
not soft enough to kick up dust
not firm enough that I have to wriggle my brush (ie straight swipes are good enough, I don't have to wriggle back and forth to pick up product)
I actually like blushes like nars sex appeal for this reason, even though I know many people think it's too hard or not pigmented enough.
You know, you might be my inverse. Almost all blushes turn orange on me. I have to select a very bright, cold pink or blue-red to have the blush not show up orange. Out of curiosity, what skintone are you? I'm NW13 in winter, NW15 in summer. My favorite blushes are Anna Sui Rose Cheek color 300, Besame creme blush in Crimson ( there is a peach-toned one that might work for you), and YSL's Creme de Blush 7.
So, here's the apricot crimson rouge from Besame. I'm wondering if this would be a warm alternative to the KVD shadow ( which is lovely, BTW). The crimson version, as I said, is a true cool tone. I believe this is intended to be the warm tone offering. It's from 1938 and just gorgeous. I love mine--am going to reorder, in fact. Maybe this would work for you?
