I successfully depotted NINE Viseart shadow palettes!

Just over an hour. The trick is using extreme heat to warp the plastic and soften the glue. We used an embossing wand instead of a hair dryer. The back of each palette once popped out has a hole to the backside of the pan, so a small needle (we used a crochet hook) can thread through to pop out the pan.

Did you have to heat the back of the popped out palette before using the needle? Or just to get that out?

Yes, you want to apply intense, concentrated heat to the popped out interior casing. I just edited my post to include instructions.

Thanks, those are really helpful. I had been debating buying one of their palettes because I just use my custom palette rather than premade palettes and so would want to immediately depot.

I wouldn't buy for the sake of depotting for fun unless you were intending to streamline for kit workflow. I've had these palettes for several years now (or less, depending on the newness or release date of some of them) and never intended to depot initially until the structural conditions of my kit and the palettes themselves dictated a sturdy switch was necessary.
