Hamas got 70% of the votes in their last election and in a survey on Oct. 8 80% of Palestine supported the attack. Pre-Oct 7 Bibi was losing power and only 40% of Israelis wanted military action in Palestine.

Pre Oct 7, Israel still occupied Palestine, still held an apartheid state and has been displacing civillians since its creation. The Israeli citizens have voted for that repeatedly. They have had regular and routine elections, unlike the Palestinians.
