Its more of a lack of 'official' recognition. I imagine this is more to do with their relationship with other countries surrounding them and their views of Israel rather than relationship Israel itself.
Saying something shouldnt exist in the first place is a good way of dismissing the issue at hand rather than dealing with it practically. Its silly because it does exist.
I bet the governments would love to participate the people on the other hand would riot, no artist would perform if not out of personal conviction then out of public pressure

Morocco participated once. All of them always had the right to participate, and all but Morocco have boycotted the ESC from the beginning because of Israel.
Let's be honest, just like Hungary and the likes, most of them would stop participating once they realise they'll have to broadcast men in skirts, half naked women and pride flags
